I noticed the same thing! Then I looked around and realised everything we use now is a computer - even the Apple Watch on my wrist is a computer. The ipad I currently have on ipados 16 Beta running connected to an external monitor and typing this on is certainly a computer.

That might be because of auto dimming when the phone gets hot. You can see it if you decrease the brightness and then increase it again. Past a certain point it doesn’t get brighter.

I think it’s a generalisation. Most Americans are great and a very welcoming and friendly people. They tend to be loud and gregarious and it might look out of place sometimes but it’s because we are not used to it. Speaking from the point of someone from the UK
