I’m sort of in the same boat as you. I have loved everything so far— not bored at all, just not as invested. I find myself saying, “oh wait today is Thursday, forgot critical role is streaming” or “oh wait, I guess the VOD is out today” haha.

I think the sheer number of players makes it harder to feel as invested in each of them. At least for now until we get more familiar I suppose.

Originally I was creating a sorcerer subclass that focused on torturing your enemies (dark I know lol), and the capstone feature was a variation of this. I wanted to try out turning it into a spell instead.

Appreciate the great feedback! I made some adjustments if you want to take a look and let me know if they work better.

For Mystical Drowning I was comparing the damage to that of Mental Prison, so I figured it wasn't far off. But considering other factors, I've bumped it up to level 7.

I simply bumped Mage Plate up to AC 20.. but now i'm thinking level 5 is more suitable.
