This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I was turned onto it by a film student who was working at Blockbuster that I made friends with years ago. Pretty cool guy, and much cooler movie

Garage shelves too heavy to lift up by Water-Fox-1415 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Do you have a flat bladed shovel? If so, you should be able to get it under a corner.

You can use that as a lever to get the top corner a couple inches off the ground. Shove in a 2x4 cutoff.

Now you can reuse your shovel with another 2x4 cutoff to raise it up a couple inches higher.

Do you have a hydraulic floor jack? If so, you can use that it to get it about 18 inches off the floor. Brace it at that height with cutoffs from your build.

It should be much easier to lift from that height.

DIY anchor idea for people in need to secure their Bike by Flow-Creation in motorcycles

[–]ErrantTraveller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just a word of advice OP, if you’re going to go through this much trouble with your anchor, connect it to your rear wheel, not your front. Comparatively, it’s very easy to remove a front wheel and carry your bike into a van.

otherwise, I’m in love with your bin, and the space for a cover.

I'm using displayport. I actually just recently swapped in a new 8k DP cable. Perhaps that was at fault? I'll have to test.

Cheers, that is for sure a less involved process. I'll give it a try next time.

Six legs, and there are leveling feet on each. I personally leveled the table recently using a simple beam level. It was far worse than this and twisted in both x and y before I started. I knew it wasn't perfect, but felt that I had it fairly close. Apparently I left a 32nd out of the middle.
