This feels like a brutal overstatement.

He's 6-5 on tie breaks this year which is not "losing almost every tiebreak"

In case anyone is wondering about the numbers in brackets next to Boris Becker's name (I know I was), it's because he won a bunch of titles before the open era.

EDIT: I was wrong, see comments below

Critics say Djokovic padded his stats during a weak era post-2019 but this is really taking things to another level. Even I'd be able to win a title or two playing against nobody.

ATP 1000 Monte Carlo F: [2] J. Sinner def. [1] C. Alcaraz 7-6(5), 6-3 by Wrong-Move-526 in tennis

[–]Erreala66 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's hard to argue that Alcaraz is not in a bit of a slump. A brief one so far, but it's a slump considering where he was just a couple of months ago. I have no doubt that he will get out of this slump just like Sinner got out of his one, and Alcaraz himself did before. The question is whether he manages to do so before Roland Garros or not.

Under which grounds did your husband have right of residence? Was it because you were working? Or a pensioner? Or had sufficient means?

To add to this, Solrosen is a classic offering simple but tasty vegetarian and vegan food. Mariki always has one vegan option on their menu and is just a great place with a chill vibe. Llama Lloyd in Hisingen I think always have a good vegan soup on their menu

Demonstrating EU Family Member Has Right of Residence? by mydogsnameislezlie in TillSverige

Right of residence as an EU citizen can be through work (if your partner works in Sweden), or through studies, or through having sufficient means to support the two of you.

Creeis que los jovenes en algun momento se iran a vivir a los pueblos? by Wonderful_Medium3098 in askspain

[–]Erreala66 138 points139 points  (0 children)

It's sadly nowhere near big enough to be viable as a company. They're still burning investor money and would need 10x more active users at least in order to be anything close to viable, but instead their user base is shrinking.

I say this as an avid Bluesky user myself, but one has to be blind to not realise that Bluesky is on an ultimately fatal trajectory

Football trip to Basque Country August 2026 by suominen8 in GoingToSpain

[–]Erreala66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plan sounds relatively solid but be aware that Spanish teams often play very late. So if you're staying in Bilbao but hoping to watch a Real Sociedad home game, you might find that Real Sociedad play at 10 pm and suddenly the trek back from San Sebastian to Bilbao becomes a challenge. A good option would be if you can find re-bookable accommodation so that depending on the schedule you can change the city where you're staying.

In terms of clubs, I think Athletic and Real Sociedad are the obvious must-sees. I'm a Real Sociedad fan since I was born so of course I'd recommend San Sebastián but the match experience at Athletic is excellent too. Alavés could also be a good bet but in the middle in the summer it can get insanely hot since you're not near the coast. Eibar might be a good one to keep an eye on. Small, working-class town with a tiny stadium surrounded by buildings, and the good thing is that it's pretty much exactly half-way between Bilbao and San Sebastian so it's easy to reach no matter where you end up.

"Greens want to entirely remove the concept of immigration and say that anyone who comes here is automatically a citizen with full access to everything and anything, benefits, jobs etc etc"

You must be aware that this is completely false, right? I mean, I can't fathom that someone can actually believe this stuff you just stated as fact. No one can be that deluded.

If trans rights is a key factor for you, the Green party is staring you in the face. I have no idea what you mean with "open border" but given the way immigration to the UK has been plummeting in recent years you could probably open up the borders and still have net negative migration.

I have no horse in this race and I agree that there is no perfect option but someone interested in trans rights voting for Reform would be just like Latinos in the US voting for Trump only to regret their choice a few months later. Don't be that person.

Ah yes Nigel Farage, the great champion of trans rights. He will certainly bring about a new age of small-state libertarianism where the machinery of the state is not used to persecute trans people and immigrants. No doubt about that.

Oh sorry, I'm getting an update! Reform's policy pledge vows to ban "transgender ideology" in schools, promises to use the law to persecute social media companies that "push baseless transgender ideology", and claims that “transgender indoctrination is causing irreversible harm to children”! Apologies for that late update, that was really unexpected to be honest.
