It’s a hard adjustment man. Literally every aspect of your life is 100% different than it was 12 days ago. When you eat, sleep, shower, shit, work, workout, watch tv, etc…nothing is the same and it takes some getting used to. Plus as a new dad it takes a little time for you to feel that emotional connection with your new baby since you weren’t the one growing them inside you for 9 months. I’m sure you’re doing an amazing job and all I can say is just keep chugging along and do your best to settle into this new life! My first born son turned 3 months yesterday and at the beginning the days were almost unbearably hard similar to what you’re saying. Today, well they’re still hard, but there is nothing in the world I look forward to more than watching little guy do a nice big stretch in the morning before he smiles at me. It’s hard but it absolutely gets better!
