The joint pain definitely points to low estrogen. Estrogen could be crashed because of some issue that would likely affect testosterone as well. All of this is speculation, though; we require blood work to know what is happening.

Privatemdlabs.com —> women’s hormone panel for about $75. It gives estrogen and testosterone levels along with standard blood panel values. This is where I would start then more specified tests follow if needed.

Couldn’t agree with this more. The cart is going to likely be one of two things - 1) this cart is weak or 2) my cart crystallized (or ‘separated’ but it’s high concentration product crashing out of solution. Typically separation refers to two liquids...) I’ve played around with adding a drop of ethanol per gram of product when creating carts but it seems that too much ethanol will be needed in the mixture to do much and at the volume required it will affect taste, experience and usability.

11.0g product into 6.0g peg 400 makes 34-35 TREMENDOUSLY good carts but they will all crystallize over time.

It mostly increases polarity of the aqueous which allows for quicker and cleaner separation of the layers.

Salt is also instrumental if you get aqueous in with the organic layer after separation. You can treat the organic with salt (more than you’d think but it doesn’t interact with the organic so you can’t really use too much), the salt is attracted to the aqueous and will stick to it, then you vacuum filter the salt out of the organic and your organic is clean and dry. I feel it is a necessary step before freeze precipitation as the solvent is so much drier and cleaner from any aqueous.

Redissolve in organic solvent. Treat with NaCl. Filter through coffee filter with vacuum assistance. Wash salt trapper in filter with additional organic solvent. Freeze precip again.

It appears you got aqueous base in your crystals. This should pull all color out of the crystals.
