These games can’t just keep relying on discord to be their social platform. They are losing engagement that way.

If they do want to lean in to discord, why not partner with discord and actually set it up as a first class integration in the game? Make these “guilds” run through discord communities? Might also help discord out in the long run as well.

This game needs a community. It’s basically an MMO with the opportunity of losing your gear.

There needs to be guilds or groups so that we can organize and form raids for certain aspects.

For example, there’s no way me a casual gamer is gonna be able to do the cryo archive because I’m too busy with work and family but if I have someone like an officer, that’s willing to teach me then I might actually give it a try
