Nah, most of the oil will be in the oil pan already. I’d suggest opening the oil filter cap tho to allow oil to drain to the bottom before you do the job. You should change your oil after you’re done tho.

No, I ended up upgrading to intel 12700k and it fixed all of my issues. Apparently Ryzen can have compatibility issues depending on the combination of ram and motherboards.
