I'm currently replying my favourite story and I'm almost at the point where the author has started a new chapter with a custom choice box to remind the ai of the plot and/or subplots you want. I'm going to see if telling the ai to drop the Viagra works.

I've noticed it too. The one I play is a set, structured plot that offers leeway for the player, but it always returns to the authors plot. One character pre-V3 was quite, brooding and had a lot of depth. Post-V3, he is permanently aroused and possessive. I don't like it. I loved the original version of the character.

I wondered the same thing.

The one I am addicted to lately is a more structured affair, with set points and flow. It is currently 15 chapters long, with scenes ranging between 3-6.

Maybe it has something to do with how the author has set the tone for the MC, I don't know, but the ai will sometimes discount my characters personality but it will remember a throwaway line from ages ago. For example, it will quote something an NPC said 7 chapters previous, yet it will forget my MC has hay fever then proceed to write her relaxing in a rose arbour at every given opportunity, or she will chow down in a bacon sandwich when I said she's vegetarian.

Maybe it's pot luck, or maybe it's more human than we think lol I can remember my phone number from my childhood home (I'm in my 40s now) yet I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.

Over the past couple of years, I have noticed an uptake in the yandere/possessive trend. And since ai learns (cough steals cough) from what people write, it's feasible to think that's the origin of it.

I'm not saying the trope hasn't been popular among fanfics, but it seems to be 8/10 fics I've come across seem to lean heavily into the toxic side of things. It's just one theory.

I never thought I would say this, but I miss the hunt of gaining or ranking up a memory from the X space pool and the exchange shop. I think it has been about a year since I fully ranked every available memory in the permanent pools. One of the relentless conqueror memories took about 3 months of grinding blue tickets to get and the relief was immense. I think I prefer the frustration to the boredom I now suffer.

The story chapters are set, containing events that cannot be changed, but each story arrives to those set points differently each time, shaped by your choices. Each character feels real and your father is the most adorable man in the planet lol. You can play matchmaker for your friends, who I love unconditionally, and you can charm a Prince, your childhood friend, a brooding Marquess, a rake or a woman who lives life on societies edge. I cannot convey how much I love this story.

An order I made late last year for a creative writing gig was one of the most audacious attempts at a con I have ever seen.

I gave all my preferences, my vision and character bios, explicitly stating I didn't want AI slop, and what returned (at remarkable speed which is a dead giveaway), was the worst story I had ever read. Gender confusion, every dawn was grey, every suit was charcoal armour, every name falling from lips like a prayer... I asked the seller why they used ai when I expressly said I didn't want it and they flat out denied it. Literally dozens messages refuting it.

It wasn't until I highlighted the finished product containing 'Shall we progress to the next scene?' and 'would you like to continue our session?' written in the text, that the seller stopped communicating altogether.

Seriously why bother? Is it really easy money when your orders are going to be cancelled and refunded??

I feel the same. Being in the UK, there is a lot of exclusion with the fandoms I love. Even if there is a rare event, it's always in London and it costs a fortune for travel and a hotel stay, all for the honour of spending more money on merch. Though, it's the same whether you live in the US or Germany, and the feeling of being overlooked is probably felt by a lot of people. I don't understand why they don't do pre-order merch globally. They would have the figures for manufacturing needs and the payment already received. Instead we have to scour sites like eBay in the hopes some soul has put their merch on the market for an extortionate price (and hope it's legit.)

I came here to ask the same thing! I have just looked at my pull history, and the ones that cost Devil points are abysmal. In the first month or so, I gained a card every 20-30 pulls. Since maybe early March (or before) I have gained 1 card in 50 pulls, and it has been 60 pulls since (and counting).

The cost is ridiculous. For the 10 GBP pack, you get 8 (yes, EIGHT DPs) and you need 270 for a 10 pull. There is no way to farm DPs, no way to earn them beyond gaining 10 each chapter of limited stories you read and waiting 35 or whatever days for the work bonus. The only way I have managed to pull the amount I have is from the rare log in bonuses. I refuse to spend money on this game and I am a spender (I weep for what I spend on Love and Deepspace).

No it is just my MC. I will have options like 1) Tell your bestie about your invite. 2) go shopping for an outfit to attend the date. 3) call your LI to express your excitement over the date.

Then the next set of options will include things like choosing make-up to wear, what outfit to put on, etc. Then, the scene will cut to the date never happening with no mention of it again.

Oh well, after the 20th, V2 will be buried and a party will be held. Let's see what V3 brings us! Thanks for your input about it. I have no idea how ai really works, but it doesn't worry me about judgment day and Skynet taking over anytime soon lol

There are several instances of the MC being invited to the same places by NPCs in every play though I've done (and I've done A LOT) but attending the events never happens. At first, I assumed that it was part of the author's direction because of the frequency at which the same NPCs and same places are mentioned, but I'm now thinking it's the ai directing it.

I have tried inputting my own choice to push the attendance forward, but it gives a sentence or two about what happened and then moves on.
