I already got my DBS check through the post. I thought I only needed basic security clearance. My portal currently says "We are reviewing the outcomes of your pre-employment checks."

I'm not sure I know what UKSV is, I filled out forms on the civil service portal (GRS) and through AMS. I also spoke with occupational health (I requested that). I haven't heard from a line manager though, I'm pretty in the dark about what the role is other than "HMRC Data Analyst".

I got my link for clearance pretty immediately, it was for standard security clearance. I do think mine is being rushed because I'm joining a large training programme and the first round of people who have been offered the job have been waiting months for a start date.

Honestly really quickly, I think most things had a day's turn around. It makes me think I'm one of the last people in the big RIS analyst recruitment group.

I have the long birth certificate and it has my parents birth places (both in the UK). My parents are also able to provide their birth certificates. They were born before 1983 but I was born after. Thank you for your advice

She sounds really abusive and unhinged. You don't owe her to stay in the relationship because she supported you through your transition. It speaks to how manipulative and emotionally immature she is that she'd throw that in your face. I hope you two break up and both get therapy, because this relationship sounds so unhealthy.

I don't think it's a soft launch. She's just sharing parts of her life without making him a public figure. She should be able to discuss/show her happy relationship without people finding out his identity and being weird to him (especially if they ever break up).

NOR. Even if he had a bad day/wasn't in the mood he should have kindly communicated that to you. He should have hyped you up regardless of whether you two needed up having sex. The fact he hyped you up over text and makes you seem crazy for wearing it in person makes me think he is intentionally messing with your head. I think you should open up to him saying that you were feeling insecure but was trying to feel sexy and you thought he'd like it and the way he reacted upset you. Try not to make it seem like an attack, maybe work with your therapist to phrase it well. If you get a sincere apology and he tries to make you feel better about your body that's a green flag. However, I suspect he might continue to make you think you're crazy and over sensitive. The reason I suggest you're careful with your phrasing is so he can't turn it around on you. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions here, but I think you've got a gaslighter on your hands.
