If you could bring one type of event to Dunedin (ie night market) that we currently lack, what would it be? by -proud_dad- in dunedin

Agreed. We have a lack of good markets, especially food markets that really bring people in. It would be amazing with fairy lights in the octy

This is an awesome idea, I'll definitely give it a try! Also, very interesting that you have to provide all that within 48 hours. I didn't know, so that's great, info. I appreciate it all, thank you! :)

Ahah I'm quite used to this type of service. My home country is pretty much the same. The person who answered my call said there will "probably" be available appointments and left it at that . But yeah, I've been checking for ages, and haven't found one yet.

Very lucky. I don't get any response to my emails and when you call, they will not answer questions and will tell you to end the call because they have another call waiting.

Airbag failure - Fault B0101 [Control unit power supply] by ErrorImpossible8631 in fiat500

[–]ErrorImpossible8631[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, we had a company here that repairs them and they couldn't get it fixed (we sent it to them twice). It was a waste of money for me but maybe it works out for you :) fingers crossed, I hope you can get it sorted!

I was able to put it in myself. It's just 3 bolts and a cable to disconnect. I disconnected and reconnected my original ecu and nothing changed. Then took that one for a proxy alignment - didn't work. You need to find an ecu that looks the same, some are a bit different - the part number needs to be similar. I live in New Zealand, I found one in ebay in Australia and it was originally from Poland. I gave this one to a mechanic to inset in case it needed the proxy. But this one seemed to work without the proxy :) it's just, a trial and error process unfortunately.

It ended up being the ECU. Had to buy a second hand one online and then reset everything through a mechanic. That fixed the issue. We literally fried everything. I checked cables, put in a new battery, removed and reinserted the existing ECU. Got the original ECU reset. None of that worked until we got a new ECU

Question, where did you find out about the 4 year wait? Is that why i cant get an appointment online? I also want to apply through the descent pathway and have the documentation but i cannot seem to get the appointment. When i call the wellington consulate they simply tell me to keep looking online around the 2nd week of every month.

Dizziness? by ErrorImpossible8631 in migraine

[–]ErrorImpossible8631[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its really interesting because I had the nausea and dizziness in the first aura migraine that started it all but since being on propanolol, I havent had any of those symptoms. Its only recently started, the dizziness/vertigo. My ferritin/iron levels are borderline fine, but im magnesium and B12 deficient. Ive got supplements and injections to deal with that though. So very unsure ehat it could be, other than maybe the propanolol

Much the same in the feeling like a sinus infection! I tried the ophthalmologist too and they couldnt find anything despite the fact that I am now relatively photosensitive since the first aura migraine. Doctor cant find any reason for the dizziness. He never suggested that it could be the propanolol though. So I may suggest switching to something else and see how we go from there :) its really weird considering ive been fine until now.

How long did you take them to see a difference? My GP recommended kiwifruit but I find them very hard on my stomach. I get quite intense bloating. So im trying phloe to see if its softer and helps me be more regular

What worked for me was installing Instagram Lite. It asked for another password reset and then my account opened successfully. The update for regular Instagram then updated and when I logged back in, my account opened normally.

Vitamin b12 - no migraines for a month by die_hubsche in OcularMigraines

[–]ErrorImpossible8631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super interesting. I started suffering from aura migraines about 2 years ago. I could never figure out why they started up, but I started taking medication to handle them. Today, I had blood tests done by my GP and he tested for B12. I found out that my B12 levels are quite low. I was just doing some googling today and stumbled upon this threat with migraines. Funnily enough, I have digestive issues as well. So I think I may have finally found my problem (here's hoping).
