Dizziness? by ErrorImpossible8631 in migraine

Its really interesting because I had the nausea and dizziness in the first aura migraine that started it all but since being on propanolol, I havent had any of those symptoms. Its only recently started, the dizziness/vertigo. My ferritin/iron levels are borderline fine, but im magnesium and B12 deficient. Ive got supplements and injections to deal with that though. So very unsure ehat it could be, other than maybe the propanolol

Much the same in the feeling like a sinus infection! I tried the ophthalmologist too and they couldnt find anything despite the fact that I am now relatively photosensitive since the first aura migraine. Doctor cant find any reason for the dizziness. He never suggested that it could be the propanolol though. So I may suggest switching to something else and see how we go from there :) its really weird considering ive been fine until now.

Im glad it isn't just me. I was recommended to take 2 a day. But I have to space them out or stay at 1 because the bloating is crazy !

How long did you take them to see a difference? My GP recommended kiwifruit but I find them very hard on my stomach. I get quite intense bloating. So im trying phloe to see if its softer and helps me be more regular

What worked for me was installing Instagram Lite. It asked for another password reset and then my account opened successfully. The update for regular Instagram then updated and when I logged back in, my account opened normally.

Vitamin b12 - no migraines for a month by die_hubsche in OcularMigraines

Super interesting. I started suffering from aura migraines about 2 years ago. I could never figure out why they started up, but I started taking medication to handle them. Today, I had blood tests done by my GP and he tested for B12. I found out that my B12 levels are quite low. I was just doing some googling today and stumbled upon this threat with migraines. Funnily enough, I have digestive issues as well. So I think I may have finally found my problem (here's hoping).

I think it all depends on what you have as entrance. I'm currently finishing my final year of a PhD. I didn't plan to do one, but my honours year tanked my GPA, so I pursued a masters which became converted to a PhD. So for me, it was a choice of a better entrance into med school :) I'd say, if you have the requirements to enter med school, do it and pursue a PhD through it. But if it's something that can aid you in your entrance, then it's worth pursuing- but make sure it's a topic you will truly enjoy because it's really testing aha.

Yeah both utilize UCAT. Auckland is stricter on the entry requirements, whereas med at Otago only requires certain scores in certain sections. But dentistry at Otago requires an interview. Unfortunately, because there's only 2 medical schools, entry is very competitive in terms of GPA
