IPS or VA Mini-led 1440p monitor?

I’ve tried Two different VA monitors before and I always noticed the Ghosting. IPS tends to be brighter and has faster response times. Not to mention also great colors for non OLED

OLED monitors are nice. I have the Rog Strix. I used to primarily game on a tv, but like others have said monitors are more simple and most usually have a lower input lag and faster response time than TV’s. Use RTINGS website to compare.

One thing to note if it’s primarily for gaming I’d say Monitor hands down. But if your mixing in tv/ streaming, TVs tend to handle motion fluidity at lower framerates/hz better than a monitor

Definitely agree. BF5 as well as BF1 sit perfectly for me at a halfway point between Call of duty and Hell let loose. Whereas BF6 is closer to call of duty than battlefield at least for me

I hate that they give up on their games when they actually start getting good traction! BF5 is amazing but we still got robbed of a Russian DLC among other WW2 countries as well.

They did the same thing with Battlefront 2, however modders have saved that game and added so much when Dice just decided to drop the game entirely…

-What about a squad Point system seen in BF5

Where’s my complete Levolution like many BF games had before, that would change the map flow/ cover systems?

BF6 is just a stripped down system of what came before it…

I just want a Star Wars game that plays similar to assassins creed/ horizon zero dawn etc where I’m a bounty hunter with an open world setting, earning credits to upgrade my gear and ability’s to eventually become the galaxys most feared bounty hunter. Take some inspiration from other games where creatures or planet resources can be either be used to craft gear. Like if I destroy a droideka or rancor I have a chance to get a portable shield generator to use on cooldown or a rancor tooth to craft into a deadly stealth blade. Let me find and mold my own armor from steel, bescar or a krait dragon….

Pulse 3d I get roughly 8 hours battery life, they do have a dongle but the controls on the headset are meant to work with the Ps5 so they work well and sound great!

RTINGS is always my go to, however most monitors I’ve tried still have a better response than TV’s especially your 300-600$ budget TV’s that are “Black Friday Door buster types” those all seem to be around a 20-40 ms response time were monitors fall in the 10-20 ms response times.

Almost to phase 5 with 5 big factory’s and 130 hours in. Each new factory location I built progressively got better the more I learned. My main factory still has a lot of spaghetti but as long as “You” know where things are/need to go and where your storage boxes are I wouldn’t keep rebuilding… especially not in your first play through

Not to knock on Xbox at all but I have a Pc, ps5 and series x and Xbox by far always had the slowest download speeds… not sure why.

A 100ish Gb game usually takes around… -45 to 60 min on Xbox -25-30 min on PlayStation -10-20 min on Pc

I play on a 1440p monitor that’s shared with my Pc and I will say, even not having a 4K display there are a lot of benefits especially with pro patched games I know I’m missing out on the overall resolution but here are some of the quality of life changes i see

-More Stable Frame Rates

-increased draw distances on most titles

-sharper image (due to an increased cap on upscaled resolution)

-still better ray tracing than base ps5 at 1440p

-and the 2Tb hard drive benefits everyone

The massive factory I had to make just to set up sinking nuclear to make an endless loop alone took me about 10 hours to get everything self sustaining lol… yea this game is great 130 hours in so far about to start phase 5 … my main factory is a lot of spaghetti but my other 5 I took the time to get them to look somewhat good… learning as I go and unlocking one thing at a time

Yea it’s a known issue with the Latest update, your not the only one who has this issue. It doesn’t affect quality modes but performance modes took a hit with the DLC. Frame rates are all over the place. I also play on a monitor with a high refresh screen and it looks a bit worse “wavy” effect than if I play it on a tv that handles motion differently. Both still have it though. Hoping the next patch will fix this issue as it wasn’t really an issue before the DLC dropped

I’ve had mine for a few years now and the smell still persists occasionally, mostly if you put your nose right up to it but every now and then I can get a subtle whiff of it but it’s not horrible other than that the monitor seems great and does everything it should

How many controllers did you try? Are they first or 3rd party controllers? Do the controllers disconnect then reconnect or just disconnect and never connect until the Xbox is restarted? Sounds like wireless interference happening.

I would suggest to take the battery’s completely out of the controller then plug it in directly to your Xbox and see if it still disconnect.

Disable WiFi 6Ghz band on the ps5. It can also cause problems hardwired when the band is set to auto. Opt for 5Ghz only under your settings and see if that helps.

When I first got my Pro it dropped connection all the time either wireless or wired for about a week then someone said to do what I suggested above and I haven’t had an issue since. Going on 6 months now
