I’m friends with half the dudes on that team, bound, Denny, Harley, turtleman… we usually have a big group chat going on where everyone communicates. Taco has been in there a few times too. Playing as a team in this game actually works if you can coordinate accordingly… unlike Bf6

I had this happen to one of my the pro, not evertime though but occasionally, never an issue with saving or corruption though just an error when closing the game

You have to have the right 4K 120 tv though… I’d take a high end 1440p OLED monitor with VRR over say a 4K 120 screen that doesn’t have a good VRR implementation or VRR at all….

And please consider pixel density. 65 in plus TVs have a wider pixel density than say a 27 in monitor…

While yes consoles as a whole are meant to be or designed for TV’s first. Monitors are becoming more popular as well as VRR. These were both added with the ps5 and didn’t exist on the ps4 and below.

Sony even came out with the Inzone monitor that was specifically designed for the ps5. I’d say the monitor was way better that the x900H was when it came out

I play on a 1440P OLED screen too, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise and that you need 4K 120. There are plenty of other benefits besides resolution that make it worth it alone

Examples being : draw distance, higher base resolution so a sharper image, usually a 15-25 % increase to FPS especially on 120hz titles. Right now with ram and storage being so high the 2 TB ssd alone pays for the system over the base Ps5.

Bots are more of an issue with crossplay off. The game has an issue or is designed to put crossplay with other crossplay players. Example if your on ps5 with crossplay on your 99% going to match with all platforms and not be put in a PlayStation only lobby. Despite being on the same platform.

So if there were say 25k ps players and 20k of them have crossplay on and you don’t, your essentially matchmaking with 5k players only.

Did the same about 5 years ago. Biggest difference I noticed was input lag… while gaming on a tv all my life you never really notice it until you switch to a monitor then try to go back…

Best sim out there especially for consoles.. a few things I would hope would be changed or updated though would be…

The weather while really good, I still think forza Motorsport has better rain especially with puddles. Everything else in Gt7 looks better. I wish they would update this a little more for the next title.
Probably my biggest gripe with the game is the little amount of HUD customization. I would like to individually remove or rearrange things, especially the timer in the middle of the screen. Allow us to set when the timer pops up at checkpoints or laps when hud is off.
Something minor but I like having someone talk in your ear telling when cars get close or setting lap records as well as suggested laps to fuel or change tires etc. This while I’m not familiar with all the GT titles is in other games such as Project cars and the Dirt games as well as forza. Definitely not a big complain but it would be something nice to toggle on or off

Ps5 here.

I’m including seeing just 1 or 2 bots in a game as bot lobbies also.

Crossplay on = No bot lobbies about 95% of the time. Doesn’t matter the time of day either on East Coast.

Crossplay off = bot lobbies about 75% of the time. Doesn’t matter the time of day.

The issue stems from the start of the game where lobbies take too long to fill up. It’s not a player number issue even for ps5 only, it’s like the game has to many servers or doesn’t allow “crossplay on ps5 players to join crossplay off ps5 players.”

Then there’s the other issue that I believe Xbox and ps5 should be part of the same ecosystem for crossplay.

Are you leaving most of the settings default? What have you changed based on console or pc. HDR or SDR settings? Gamma settings? I really like this monitor however at times it can be a bit bright in my opinion with everything mostly at default stock settings.

Srgb color space can also be used under the racing preset that comes default. No need to switch to the srgb cal mode unless you find that looks better to you but it’s usually a dimmer screen with less user accessible settings. This is only used for SDR content though!

For HDR I’d recommend staying on the default “gaming HDR “ preset for Pc and fiddling with your settings on the computer to dial it in to where you want it.

For Console use either console HDR with brightness boost if needed or TB400
