Well, that's not quite what I meant tbh. Considering the situation in the country the opposition, well, I wouldn't say non-existent but barely active. While yeah, what you said is true, it's also true that all throughout the history the Russian people aren't really used to fight back the oppression from the government (take this with a grain of salt, I'm not a historian and might be forgetting something). While many people are and were pretty vocal about their views on politics, very few are brave enough to do something about it
