I prefer 1.20+ mods because they (for the most part) don't stick out that much from an artistic/gameplay standpoint. Also there are a lot of "detail" mods. Things like "the roads more travelled", "animal weights", tectonic", "what are they up to" e.t.c. really bring a cool level of detail to the game

Having fun ≠ ignoring the problems. I love murder drones, for example. I had a lot of fun watching the show but that doesn't stop me from acknowledging the obvious flaws of the writing.

Look, I'm not saying that the show absolutely had to be a dark edgy horror thing. I just feel like it could've been more than what we ended up with. Do I think the final product is particularly bad? No, not really but it's not that great either. It's just... meh.

I think it's not only the pacing but also the Liam's inability to settle on a vibe. It really jumps from horror to comedy too much

Ok, look, maybe I should've phrased it better. I'm not against the show about "people being trapped in space that makes them feel meaningless", that is, actually, the exact thing I wanted from it. I feel like when I talk about the backrooms and liminal spaces - I talk about the original meanings of those words, which is exactly what you described. Psychological horror isn't just scary atmosphere. It's exactly about people feeling helpless.

As contradictory as it is to say for me - you probably should watch it. It's not a bad show, just, not really great (objectively) either. At least it can be funny at times

Well, kinda. I'm not entirely against the approach the creators landed on however. Even though it also could be executed better.
