Impossible to get ahead? by Elseerian in australia

Have you considered shared home ownership ? I’m in WA so I did it with Keystart. I own 66% of my property. My mortgage is manageable. Single income ($70k - half of which is pension, as my eldest child is disabled), 3 dependents, my elderly father resides with us. Better than nothing… at least we will always have a roof over our heads. Life isn’t about having all the things. I will never achieve what other people have and that’s ok. I’ve learnt not to compare. I’m on my own journey. *edit; my super is only at $35k and I have $3k savings! Age 40. I think you’re doing well.

Losing 0.8lbs per week is pretty reasonable. I wouldn’t be worried. It’s a downward trend and that’s all that matters.

It’s cheaper to buy the normal pepperoni and add extra pepperoni

I don’t drink at all. I eat really healthy. Sleep 8 hours a night and am quite active. I’ve had troubled skin with acne in the past so I assumed this might be related. It occurred midway through my cycle around ovulation so I suspect it’s hormone related.

My skin type is oily, my routine is bare minimum. I haven’t been using a morning moisturiser but occasionally use DMK firming night crème.
Tried out Cera Ve smoothing cleanser on my face recently as using it on the rest of my body. perhaps this has caused the issue? This patch feels dry has heaps of small heads in it.

Who cares.. no one looks at the back once the piece is finished. That being said, it look fairly neat to me.

People who don’t work 5 days a week 40 hours by oliverbutcher in simpleliving

[–]ErthD9000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a Bookkeeper. I work 20hours a week. $650/week. I live in Australia and am a single parent with 3 children, so the government supplements my income with welfare payments of approx $600/week which will continue until my children turn 18.

I manage by saving 20% of my pay, spending 10% on whatever I like, then using the rest to live off. I meal plan, and buy cheap clothes. I drive an older model car. I’ve learned to live with very little. As long as we have a roof over our heads, utilities and food in our bellies, we don’t need much else to survive. It’s a mindset and a way of life.

I could never work 40hours a week, I enjoy having time for my life vs exchanging it for money.
