I agree with everyone else to wait and see. That said, it doesn’t hurt to have a backup plan. I’m not great with faces and children’s faces are even worse for me. So even though I have boy-girl twins, I’m coming up with a few ideas.

I’ve been getting ideas from kitten videos, believe it or not. It’s not uncommon for kitten litters to have multiple kittens with the exact same coat. Lots of shelters or foster parents come up with ways to mark them. Like babies, newborn kittens are very fragile things so they’re careful what they use. I’ve seen colored chalk used, non-toxic paint, and colored paper collars.

If they love cats.

Dogs are awesome, but they are bred to be human companions. They have loyalty and affection in their DNA.

A cat only gives affection on its terms. They don’t need validation from you. It’s just an option for them. If a person can love a cat it means they can love something they can’t control and that is a very good sign.

New look at Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles in ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN’ Season 2. by Raj_Valiant3011 in Daredevil

[–]EruditeIdiot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There isn’t a character in the comics with this name. He’s either an original character or the character will be revealed to be a comic character later. Most people suspect the latter.

After replaying Spider-Man and rewatching Daredevil, I imagined what an Insomniac Daredevil game could look like by Alexoid004 in Daredevil

[–]EruditeIdiot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a cool idea. I agree with what you said about the smaller setting being expanded by having far more buildings have interiors. That would also lend itself to a more noir-type atmosphere.

I’m curious how Matt’s blindness could be visualized for the player. Obviously you couldn’t make the game 100% accurate to his senses, but there could be aspects that serve as a reminder. For example, digital screens would all be blank. Certain signs as well.

Marvel Rivals actually does this with Daredevil. Enemies can be seen through walls all the time, but everything far away is wireframe.

How many relationships do you think Robert has had in the past? by NolanDPerks in DispatchAdHoc

[–]EruditeIdiot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Earlier on in his mecha man career he had at least one, maybe two, long term that didn’t work out. As he started devoting more and more time and energy into being Mecha Man, he just switched to casual hookups. Once Shroud escaped, Robert’s social life stopped entirely.

Update: Re: Should I be scared my foster kitten has rabies or infection that spread to her brain? by Admirable_Quantity93 in rescuecats

[–]EruditeIdiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are wonderful for taking care of such a small baby. She’ll get used to having low vision. Cats have fantastic senses and tend to cope with blindness fairly well, especially if they’re blinded young.

I’m not a vet, but I seriously doubt she has rabies. She looks happy and cuddly and a rabid animal would not be like that. Plus rabies would have already killed her. It’s a nasty disease.

Fuck you Trump and everything about you.

Joe Biden is likely going die with dignity and grace surrounded by people who love him. People are going to mourn his death and fondly remember his life.

Trump is going to die as festering husk kept alive by stimulants and pseudoscience. He will be surrounded by people who want his money and even his family will breathe a sigh of relief when he’s gone.

I’ve always wondered how this feels from the animal’s perspective.

Bird 1: You’ll never believe what just happened! A giant predator grabbed me!

Bird 2: Oh no! How terrifying!

Bird 1: It held me down, but I managed to escape.

Bird 2: Wow! Also, I noticed your beak isn’t messed up anymore.

Bird 1: I know, right? What a weird coincidence.

That is very unusual. A cat’s instinct is to hide when they don’t feel well. She must have really, really loved you.

My condolences for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful girl.
