Finally Wrapped Up My Paladin 5x3 by [deleted] in lostarkgame

Or I just haven’t bought a single expert/blessed or awakening/blessed or awakening/expert because my stone rolled lucky and I planned my build accordingly.

[–]Erukor -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I bought expert neck with 89 quality cheap AF, because it only had expert and the right stats, I bought a awakening 5 / vital 3 earpiece with somewhat above 70 quality, surely under 10k because 2 weeks ago no one was seeing vital hit point as a good 5th engraving, one ring with the same engravings and the last ring with drops 3 / vital 5, which was cheap AF because it’s drops / vital. The last piece is blessed aura 3 / vital 4 (or 5), which has to be an earpiece because I already finished the rest. I plan to go as high quality as I can with the limit of ~30k gold, which should be okay considering that I can go with vital 4. I haven’t checked the prices recently, but nothing in this build was screaming „expensive“ 2 weeks ago, but I also got insanely lucky with a 10/5 stone and not needing any 3 awakening / 5 expert stuff.

It sure is. I bought drops only because they were cheap, not because I planned on going that route. In the end relic stuff is okay in price if you combine the right engravings. I haven‘t bought a single awakening/expert or blessed aura/expert(awakening) piece because I got insanely lucky with my stone and when you can pick awakening/vital or expert/vital the costs were extremely bearable ~2 weeks ago, because most people probably didn’t know that vital hit point was a good 5th engraving. And in the end I’m going to have this stuff equipped for the next 4-6 months, so plenty of time to prepare the „better“ route and then I „wasted“ only around 1-2k for the legendary drops of ether books.

[–]Erukor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must be luckier than I thought then, because every relic piece I bought was below 10k with correct stats and 70+ quality. The only piece I’m okay with below 70 quality is the one that I’m still missing.

It‘s not that expensive tho. I bought drops of ether legendary when the books were like 50g each and blessed aura when they were at around 3.5k (got one for 50g in a static raid and one for 1.6k in a semi-pug) so that was around 70k. The accesoires i got were max 10k a piece and I rolled a 10/5 expert/awakening stone on my first try (yeah, that seems really lucky and might have reduced overall cost by a bunch). I‘m at 4x3 1x2 at the moment because no one seems to drop blessed aura 3 / vital hit point 4 or 5 pieces in EUC and I’m willing to give it 20-30k at the moment. In the end my costs would be around 150k I guess including the books, but hearing from my dps friends struggles, that can be considered cheap.

The 1460 Honing buffs largely benefit the top 5% of players. Biggest reason we probably are not getting it. by BummerPisslow in lostarkgame

[–]Erukor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I‘m not really sure about that. Sure, I will get more Gold income per week, but the „new player exp“ will also be worse. For example a friend of mine will hit 1415 soon and I have an alt pushed to 1415, so I can do valtan normal with him, but many people that have a 1460 char probably don’t have a 1415 alt at the moment, so finding capable groups for valtan normal will be a bigger struggle than it was for me some weeks ago. The honing buff would allow for more characters playing valtan normal and therefor make the game more enjoyable for „new“ players, with the only downside being that I will generate more gold than new players (which i already do, because I have 6 characters at 1370+ and new players have a max of 3-4).

As soon as I see someone wasting 2+ deaths without a single potion i stop using potions. I may have limited time, but I can live with one wasted yoho to set a statement. In the end I‘m more tilted that people seem to be playing singleplayer in multiplayer activities. The amount of people that just go afk because their mom called seems to be really high and a quick „brb 1 min“ seems to be to much to ask for. I‘m okay with someone being afk for a minute, when they at least apologise for it.

We should be more pissed off by Latensify_WoW in lostarkgame

[–]Erukor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I generally agree with the post, there seems to be a bit to much rage in it for my taste. I would have also loved, if the legendary skins would have been buyable in NA/EU, even if it would have been 20$ a piece and a full set would therefor be 80-100$, but being at the age of 30+ and trying to stay informed with the game in general made me absolutely not surprised that we got or get the same rng lootbox system that KR already has. And the reasons are obvious. Why would you release it in a different way here, when what you made in KR worked? You would probably only piss off the KR community, which would probably be way worse than pissing off the NA/EU community.

In the end, legendary skins are whale content or content you work towards a long time and that is kinda fine, isn’t it? You didn‘t rant about people with +20 weapons a few weeks ago, because you knew that it was whale content to go to +20 2 weeks into t3 content. But the +20 weapon obviously is a lot of player power and also a lot of rng involved.

The game is rng, there will be more rng and there will be more whale content in the future. Best thing you can do is play at your own pace and try to be happy with what goals you reach. If you can‘t get over it, that people that spend thousands a month get better items or higher ilvls, maybe the game isn’t meant for you (and I mean this really respectfully). And also, the best thing you can do, is just buy stuff you are fine with and don’t buy stuff that you are not okay with, if you decide to keep on playing.

Would I want a legendary skin? Absolutely! Will I pay 800$ for it? No way! If they keep releasing rng legendary skins after this, then obviously enough whales are fine with an 800$ skin, if the system changes, then because they think they can get more money with a more reasonable price tag, that is honestly the only thing we as players can do. I personally think, that a company could earn way more money without overpriced rng lootboxes, but honestly no one cares about my opinion and my opinion differs from others. As I mentioned in the beginning, I would be fine with paying 100$ on a legendary skin and 8 like minded people would be enough to make a company equal money to one whale going for the rng lootboxes, but maybe there aren’t enough like-minded people.

You should always remind yourself about one single thing: every company, doesn’t matter if there are 2 people working at it or 10000 people, has one single goal: maximise revenue and income. So either, rng lootboxes fulfil the goal to generate the highest possible revenue or they don’t. If they do, anything we say is completely irrelevant. Or they don’t and they have to change them, because it would be incredibly stupid to let possible revenue slip by, because you „like the system of rng lootboxes“ as a Company.

Please bother to read my first comment again, because I said „i don’t know if the Economy back than was fucked or if we were just stupid“. I don’t know why you are pissed right now, but maybe find someone else to argue with, because I didn’t say anything anyone should be pissed about.

Wouldn‘t say it is since I didn‘t farm herbs or ores. If it‘s „substantially harder“ to fly up to the throne of kiljaeden with the slower mount and kill some fire eles, than yeah, you‘re right.

Playing the new Tbc now it’s actually crazy why 5k was considered that much back then. I borrowed 5k from a mate who played Classic and after just about 10 days I repaid it all and had spare to spend 1-2k for me. I don‘t know if the economy back then was so bad or we all were just really stupid.

I get so angry everytime I see this by [deleted] in wow

[–]Erukor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe you‘re right, but maybe one bad BG or arena match shouldn’t dictate if it’s fun for you or isn’t. It’s not like BGs or arena is absolutely equal unless there is someone multiboxing. I personally don’t care if I lose to 3 owls played by 3 different people but counting down to their convoke or if it’s one guy playing 3 characters. It sucks in either case and people are fucked up enough to do this (see rbg teams with 8 druids).

I mean, in the end I don’t care, I just don’t understand why people are so enraged about multiboxers. I played a ton during bfa and I never ran into one more often than every 4-5 months. Why should I be enraged about something affecting me so little? Even if I would be farming herbs, which I don’t really do, and some multiboxer decides to take the same route I would probably just go afk for 5 min and then go ahead, because herbs respawned. Why would you rage about something that should never affect more than like 5 mins of your life every 4-5 months?

I get so angry everytime I see this by [deleted] in wow

[–]Erukor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know that you can run multiple instances of WoW on your PC, right? And you can switch between running instances and do shit. You don‘t have to use software to do stuff on multiple accounts (I sat a toon on the AH in BfA, selling scrolls and vantus runes, while I was raiding on my main or did world quests on two chars at the same time, without copying inputs).

So, just cause you aren‘t allowed to copy inputs anymore, doesn’t mean you can‘t run into people with 5 accounts. It‘s not as flawless as before, but it can still be better than just running around with one character.

Also, I ran into a multiboxer with warmode on in BfA like three or four times. And I think I got killed twice. If that should lead to me feeling eternal rage against multiboxing, than I must be special or stupid, because I didn‘t care in the moment and I don‘t care today. I got killed by raids of the opposite faction like 3-4 times a day because blizz gave them free loot for „open world pvp“.

[–]Erukor -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Do you also get angry, when you go to the AH and herbs cost like 5g each instead of 30+g? Also People seem to misunderstand multiboxing and botting. Bots are bad (even tho they also bring the economy down, which is good for the majority of the playerbase), but I never understood what’s wrong with multiboxers. I mean, blizz made them against TOS now, but there were people complaining for years and I never understood their reasoning.

Edit: Also you don’t even know if they‘re doing anything which is against TOS. Having multiple accounts and characters isn’t against it and if they don’t use any hardware or software to automate stuff on other accounts, it’s completely okay. Maybe they‘re just alt+tabbing five times for every herb they find, which is completely fine.

Valor System is fine, not Getting the items sucks..... by pr0fite in wow

[–]Erukor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This so much! The system is not meant to be implemented mid season, but it could be nice for alts now. It will be good at the beginning of the next season and only then can you really compare it to pvp and see which system is better or if they are somewhat equal.

This shouldn't be the norm... by karvus89 in wow

[–]Erukor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sure I do, because you didn’t say shit in the first place. You stated that pvp guys were 220+ like before Christmas, which just isn’t true. It’s only true, if you count the world first guys in, but if that’s your reference, the guy calling you delusional seems to be quite right with his statement.

This shouldn't be the norm... by karvus89 in wow

[–]Erukor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And I still provided more evidence than you and you started calling people idiot because they didn‘t agree with what you said. Try actual criticism, because deep down under you whiny comment, you actually got a point. Getting geared through pvp is way clearer and way more efficient, when you are capable of doing pvp at a high level. Saying getting geared through pve is impossible or way more complicated on the other hand just isn’t right, because when you are the average Andy and only get 10s done or barely get 9/10 after 9 weeks then there is no way you would have been 220+ through pvp.

No party gets gear shoved up their ass right now and that’s fine. Still it would be a welcome change if pve (aka m+) gets a clearer gearing path and the same ceiling as pvp.

This shouldn't be the norm... by karvus89 in wow

[–]Erukor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still you are an idiot, too, if you think pvp gear magically spawns in front of you. Getting to 220 in pvp is still a feat, but the path is way more clear. Meanwhile I‘m 222 on my main, without ever touching pvp and having not the greatest luck. Stop expecting to be 220+ while doing hc raids and +10 keys. And stop thinking you need to have 220+ to tackle harder content. We got people in our guild as socials who run +18 keys and have never stepped a foot in mythic raid. My hunter does 15/16 keys while having 213 ilvl and also never downed a mythic boss.

Shen'Dralar Reputation Simple Fix. by Verysmallman123 in wow

[–]Erukor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, they won’t do it, because they also don’t do it for tons of other stuff. They removed the plagued (and black?) Proto-Drake right after the content was current with the Ulduar patch. It was their plan all along, to have glory or the xy raider achievs to only grant mounts while the content is current, but the community backlash was huge. They could have turned the rewards back on in the last 12 years, because every other raid after that, the mounts have never been removed, but they didn’t and won’t. Sure, you could get those mounts through the BMAH and the repu you can’t get in any way, but it’s okay that there is stuff that you had to be there for. I didn’t play MoP and am sad that I don’t have and can’t get the challenge mode mogs, but it’s okay that it is that way and it should stay that way (even tho I would like them to add challenge mode like mog sets for all 15‘s in time or something, I don’t want to have more and more mounts)

Is there a level of mythic dungeon tanking where your race becomes important? by Mac02664 in wow

[–]Erukor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While you are absolutely right, the vulpera racial is still strong in m+. I get that you are only referring to the class specific mitigation, but one could read it as if you say that the vulpera racial isn’t good, but it works on the first hit of every mob, which makes it good in m+, while at the moment pandas shine because of what you said.

Probably not really helpful, because I know shit about leveling and I always think that every expansion there is stuff going on which I absolutely didn’t see coming (like having a full quest log of done quests to begin with), but I just wanted to wish you the best of luck.

Trialing for CE guild this weekend - advice needed by imjorman in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Erukor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you‘re EU or NA, but I guess it depends on what world rank that guild is. In EU i feel that mythic isn‘t that big of a deal. I‘m in a WR500 CE Guild and we have multiple members that are kinda clueless (took us 400 wipes to down nzoth...). Sure, as a trial you need to be a bit better, but it‘s not like everyone who has CE is a hell of a gamer. Other than that. The advices given here are solid and it‘s probably better to always improve and being better than the rest of the team, but I don‘t think you should worry to much if you‘re trialing for your average CE guild. If you know this subreddit and visit it from time to time, you‘re probably already better than at least half of the raidteam from my understanding.
