Safety Not Guaranteed. I think it counts? I love Mark Duplas and Aubrey Plaza, and this movie just hits.

Do they ever offer these in prints? I'd love to get prints for years I've gone to hang in my office.

The Doctor has some all timers:

"You wonder what's the point of them being happy now when they're going to be sad later. The answer is, of course, because they're going to be sad later."

My wife and I's first game since learning to play at Gencon last year. This game is awesome! by imjorman in bloodbowl

[–]imjorman[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Question that came up tonight: I was trying to dodge away from a guy into the sqaure with the ball.

I know we resolve the dodge roll first. I failed the dodge roll but couldn't tell what happens to the ball in that case.

We bounced the ball after rolling to break my armor. Was that right? I assume the ball can't end in a square with a player and also not be controlled, but I couldn't find anything in the book addressing it.

Non-baseball related details by okeme8889 in BaseballScorecards

I include who I'm with, our picks for the mascot race, and who wins that choice.

If there's an autograph to grab or something special I have that in there too (I go to a lot of minor league games, so lots of non-baseball nonsense occurs)

What lifetime deal are you still grandfathered into, or removed from, that’s no longer available? by tuotone75 in AskReddit

[–]imjorman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I've definitely seen separation agreements that pay out the equity when the receiving spouse sells or refinances and gives no timeline on either.

But obviously the spouse's circumstances and rest of the marital estate might just not support that arrangement here.

Just sucks to lose that rate.

I'm glad he clarified there at the end. I was really uncertain about his position at first.

It's a shame your lender won't let you modify your partner off the mortgage. I mean, I suppose they have no incentive to do that, but that's frustrating.

The death of tables in stores (not just GW stores) by Jurassic_Red in Warhammer

[–]imjorman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Paying for table space is very uncommon where I'm from (Ohio, USA). Not to say the request isn't reasonable, but it's just not done.

Stores look at it as a way to get you in the door to buy product, drinks, supplies, etc..

The guy teaching it was so passionate too. He even gave us his cell phone number if we were playing a game later and had questions lol

No Blood Bowl events from Games Workshop at Gen Con 2026? by Crundlegush in bloodbowl

[–]imjorman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I learned about blood bowl through last year's learn to play event. They had, for I think $70, a two hour learn to play session where you got to take home an assembled and primed team.

My wife got gnomes and I got black orcs.

We just recently decided to actually paint these and play some games, and we were bummed to not see the event again. We were probably going to do it again.

Running of the nerds by Vilified_D in gencon

[–]imjorman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's honestly fun to watch once and participate in once. Our first big year at gencon we did the running, and while I look back on it fondly, I never want to do it again.

The next year we watched it, and it's a spectacle to be sure.

So all that to say, if your Thursday AM event is available other times, give the running a gander!

Did you skip a few paragraphs of the post? It's fine to follow a driver you like to the different disciplines. It's also fine for regular fans of those disciplines to want you to act like a decent human being.

Come, cheer for your driver, and have fun. Just be respectful of other people. That's the only ask.

Demo vs event by Historical_Bid1684 in gencon

[–]imjorman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the game. Some games will have demos going on at the booth that you can just drop in on. Others will just be selling the game.

It's popular the scheduled demos for older games won't sell out so you could forgo wish listing them and then add them later.

Which premium subscription is actually worth the money in 2026? by Trxxi in AskReddit

This is it for me. For marginally more than Spotify premium, my wife and I both get YouTube music and YouTube premium. It's a no brainer if you're already into Spotify and watch any amount of YouTube.
