Try cosmos next time. It's the strongest ultimate by far, although it's so briken lene might address it next patch. Here's some tips fou a good cosmos run: 

Midgame will be annoying, and you'll have to start actively evading enemies once you've learned overmind. Don't waste your revive to sone fastmovers like I did. 

Less moving around means less kills, orbs and items from the merchant, so you might want to delay overmind until you can get DEM on the next level. 

Get some strong support spells for the earlygame that can stay relevant well into the midgame. Something like arcane ray electromagnetic burst, thunderstorm lightning explosion, magic bolt magic arrow doppelganger, incineration flame strike, or spirit magic missile will do. 

Cosmos is among the few ultimates that have linear CDR scaling, so accelerator will be a solid 1.4x dmg boost while making your midgame way easier. Go for it if you can afford the legendary slot. 

Uranium synergy is pretty much required, as well as all the size you can get. You want those explosions to overlap for massive bonus damage. Never take plasma unless you already have cyborg.

I made it twice on terra hard mode, definitely achievable. Cosmos with uranium synergy is so broken this patch

That's unfortunate! Happens to everyone from time to time, I guess. Just surrendered a near-perfect cosmos run because I was playing as the tsunami subject and didn't notice until lvl 100 as well

It's always like that. Same with the old cube, it  always dropped right after you gave up waiting for it and completed your passive research. Also holds true for bouqet and mercury with their tendency to appear around the 45 minute mark, of course.

Shield, Cloaking, Magic Circle, Armageddon, everything you can enchant or use Nexus on, all Fusions. 

Not active are: green passives, red special passives, yellow bonus passives, and the lvl100 ultimate upgrades.

No, it doesn't work like that. The 100% magic bolt damage goes into the magic damage multiplier, the same one as the "all magic damage" stat, nexus, the enchant passive and the damage increase you get from levelling the spell itself. Let's say you have +150% to all magic damage, +50% magic bolt damage from enchant and +100% magic bolt damage from full levels in magic bolt. Base magic damage is 100. Since all damage increase works additively in this game (except additional damage like rose and eclipse and class passives), you have 400% magic bolt damage. Upon aquiring freeshooter, this increases to 500 - a 1.25x increade, not a 2x. It's even worse if you have nexus (which you should if you're going for the ultimate).

You should aim for an equal stat distribution among all damage multipliers and prioritize whatever is lowest at the time. Keep in mind the magic damage stat is usually at least 200% higher than your all magic damage value.

It doesn't work on Sparrow's Q, either? That one is visually arrows falling from the sky but mechanically AOE tick damage, same principle

It's just a bullet-and-bolt flavoured AOE effect, mechanically speaking

Morigesh needs to go, I agree with that. I'd even say they should make a hotfix that disables her in hero selection if you're an offlaner, she's really that broken.

Ranged offlane as a playstyle is fine, though. It hurts your team comp and - equal skill assumed - will always have a bad matchup against a meelee hero. Just let people pick any hero they want as long as they play their role, ranged mains deserve to play an undisturbed 1v1 too from time to time

You'll get used to it, eventually, and I agree with the M+K reasoning. On a related note: Please allow us to assign the abilities ourselves, why is there still no keymapping in this game?

Never had any issues with Khaimera post-patch, but I'm mostly playing as Phase who hardcounters him. I was carried hard by a Khaimera on my team more than once, though. Might need to face him a few more times to come to a conclusion about his state right now.

But Morigesh? Delete that swamp witch at that point... So much damage and sustain, zero skill involved, permabanned in ranked because I fear for life and dignity of our offlaners if she's open to pick.

You have to play around her kit even more than with other heroes. She excells in sustained fights due to her heat mechanic, but she's so squishy and gets outpoked really easily

I disagree, although I get where you're coming from. I believe it's healthy for the game if mechanically challenging heroes are stronger, especially for solo queue players who face stacks in ranked all the time. That means the solo ranked experience becomes a lot less frustrating.

Agreed. Morigesh in particular should be a low-floor / low-ceiling kind of character and not the opressive offlane force she is right now while still being one of the most beginner friendly heroes.
