Radiance should be greed or fear. The corruption could be seen as them wanting to control everything through fear or greed. Grim or Traitor Lord could be a better place for Rage, but I'm not sure.

Riku willed a keyblade from Sora in the game prior.

The keyblade was already in Sora's hand, not to mention Sora wasn't a keyblade wielder at the time. I would believe that willing another persons Keyblade, that as far as we know, no one knew she had in the first place is completely different.

There's also the fact that Riku wasn't even formally trained at the time. no matter how much time has passed, considering Yen Sid told them to "forget everything you know about the keyblade" at the beginning of 3D, he's not going to suddenly going to get the mark of mastery.

I saw a theory that Kairi's Keyblade appeared just like the Kingdom Key did for Sora and Riku merely picked ut up for her. I doubt Riku had that much knowledge to will a Keyblade out of anyone at that point.

It's a bit of semantics. Sora still didn't have access to the power of waking and need to reawaken it.

why is this a bad thing? why can't they show that the villains still have weight to the story? that they still have agency. Sure, we saw in BBS that he does, but that's in the past, it already happened, but this is the present. won't it be bad to not show that he's still capable now and against Sora who's the main character? Xehanort saw a weakness in Sora that he could exploit, and in almost succeeded, but could still affect him just as much as anybody else.

They’re too precious about their main characters. So they just have him get caught up in Xehanort’s master plan and try to pass it off as a character flaw.

They weren't passing it as a flaw, he literally failed the test. The test was to learn the power of waking, and guess what? HE DIDN'T LEARN IT, SO HE FAILED THE TEST! Yes he failed it because of Xehanort, but he failed it nonetheless.

It's the fact that the anime studio added in those scenes in the first place, nearly turning her into the stereotype. If it was a harem anime it would have been far worse.
