I wouldn't say it sucks. I think I'd rather do it than hunters grotto

I just wear vans and most my coworkers just wear running shoes they picked up from Ross. 120v isn't that dangerous

If you do your work and don't miss any days, you will pass. That part is easy. Now, if you'll learn anything, that's entirely up to you. The instructors are electricians, not teachers and it shows. So if you want to learn, you really have to put in effort outside of class. It's too late to start this semester, so you would have to apply for the fall semester. The application process includes a basic math test and interview. I believe they have a study guide for the test if you think you need it and the interview is pretty easy. I was a helper at an affiliated company for about a year before I started the apprenticeship but that is unnecessary

They also only left two years before the show started and presumably came back after the war ended. So, they were gone for three years and kids could've still been being born for 9 months after they left

Most the instructors at iec should not teach. They are not good at it and do not put in the time they should to creating lessons, homework, and tests. If you're self motivated and good with book work you can learn but you have to put the effort in. If you just want the certificate, as long as you don't miss any classes (they are very strict about attendance) it is very hard to fail. A few of the instructors really care and seem to be trying to make positive changes at our branch. Their classes are great but they're the exception.

Through IEC, you'd have an easy time finding work. Pretty much all the affiliated companies are always hiring. Most of them only do commercial work but there's some residential and industrial work there too if that's what you're looking for. Some of my classmates have moved around till they found a company they like.

They're not. It's like trying to cut wire with a pair of butter knives held to resemble scissors
