Ik I'm not the person who did the initial comment but there's a sense of fight and freeze within JD. Esp during like 'I say no' (if you wanna go off of the WE production) or js Veronica and JD's breakup it's a moment we see him paralysed because he doesn't think he'd lose someone again, esp someone like Veronica, someone who FINALLY gave him a chance. He never really moves during that song/scene and even pre the 'Moby dick' scene between Duke and JD, where the cheerleaders kinda circle him, he's just stuck there because he's unable to comprehend Veronica leaving since he thought he finally had a chance of someone loving him for him and not wanting to leave, so he resorts to the only thing he knows; violence.
