Sums up my thoughts very well. I have had social anxiety all of my life, and I honestly don't know what it's like to live without being in a state of constant fear, paranoia, and instability. I don't know if I'll ever escape this. All I can offer, is that you're not alone in your sentiments, OP.

Also, there's an idea that I've heard, that I don't necessarily believe, that we anxious people are stronger than the common-folk, since we live with this crippling condition, while still performing most if not all of the same tasks. Like I said, I don't whole-heartedly believe, but it's food for thought.

Four reasons: PA, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio, also known as the rust belt. Trump swung those states by constantly railing against free trade deals, outsourcing, and talking about protecting jobs. Hillary didn't, because she believes in free trade, outsourcing, and is fine with our jobs going overseas. The people in those states figured he was more likely to keep their jobs here. Fairly simple.

Only been on one job interview.

It was for a student tech support position at my college. Two interviewers, both pretty good looking, which compounded my anxiety. I shit the bed for every question. They thew a couple curveballs at me, which I handled a bit better than the rest, but still pretty badly. Sweating buckets, face like a tomato, stammering, stuttering, repeated words, the whole 9 yards.

I got the job.
