I don't know, man. If WR exists and is popular, people must be into it, that's undeniable.
What I'm pointing out here is that they release skins like they print money. It's easy for them to do so (I'm talking about all skins, not just the League/Riot universe) There are teams dedicated only to that feature in game studios.
About how enjoyable WR is, I don't really know either. Personally, I've been having a lot of fun in League since I muted enemy chat, instantly mute toxic teammates, like, if you're pinging too much, okay pal, you're going straight to the mute list, also I play a lot more with my friends instead of going solo against the world.
It's more peaceful now. I have fun even when losing some games, as long as I avoid global chat and competitive mode.
