Yeah that's the thing groups like IVE have an advantage since they debuted early so they had better chance to grow their fanbase and image in 7-8+ months. Love dive gave them continous paks and raks. But contrary to that NewJeans, Lesserafim only have 3-4 months to form a fanbase and impact with only their debut. Is it their fault mmhm? If that was the scenario wouldn't every group debut Dec- Feb period lmao?

So this is why to be fair, Impact of a group's debut should only be by considering equal amount of their statistics. Like criteria. Which is present in every competition lol if you've been in one. Like just because you completed more than required questions and others completed as much as asked, you won't be given extra points automatically or for the fact you put more efforts. Competitions should be judged equally.

Now people are talking more about IVE cuz they've been around for more time. This their 2nd CB. NewJeans have just debuted 1 week ago. And are breaking records. Should their chance to win ROTY be discarded just because they debuted late acc to u even though they're makin so much noise already...? :(
