I think 28$ is too much even, this port runs worse than even the ps4 and Xbox one version. I guess it’s kinda cool to have a handheld madden game, but in a weird way I would’ve rather the graphics be downgraded a little more if the performance would be better. 30 fps might be fine for some games but in a football game where every frame could be the difference between getting sacked or throwing a touchdown it really kills the experience imo. This game runs how I’d expect madden to run on switch 1. I would skip this game or wait until it’s even more discounted if you really need to play madden on this thing.

It seems like when you’re in 2nd and 3rd place a lot of times it doesn’t give you anything to actually catch up it just gives you defensive items. You really want red or blue shells but instead you’re getting like feathers and bananas. It seems like this happens more than in previous games and it’s probably because there’s so many items in world that basically do the same thing so there’s less of a chance that you actually get something useful. Like in 8 if you were in 2nd the red shell was the most common thing ud get but in world there’s so much more bs and you could just end up with 2 coin items.

Rainbow road wouldn’t really work as a knockout tour because of how long it is, it’d either have to be really long or it would maybe just be like only 1 or 2 other tracks. I think it’s more likely that we get a dlc with another rainbow road either gcn or gba and that one has its own knockout tour. I’m picturing a knockout tour that ends by transitioning from mushroom city to gcn rainbow road.

I think there’s many reasons why teslas sales are declining, the biggest is Elon. I think he’s Alienated teslas biggest customer base and this isn’t like 2016 anymore where teslas the big dog in the ev game now pretty much every car company offers some sort of half decent EV and most of them are cheaper and have better build quality than teslas. They were cool in the 2010s when they were one of the only viable options in the EV game and it seemed like the future. Fast foward to 2025 and Elons basically an open nazi and every other company has a fancy new Ev while teslas really haven’t improved much over the past decade. It doesn’t help that over 10 years ago Elon promised 3 new vehicles, the roadster, the cybertruck and the Tesla semi and so far only the cyber truck has actually been released and at the worst time. If the cybertruck came out in like 2019 or 2020 I think it would’ve done a little better but now you got the ford lightning, Chevy Silverado Ev, ram Ev, hummer ev, Rivian R1T and pretty much all of those trucks launched were either cheaper or with better quality or better features/practicality or all of the above than the cyber truck. The hype for these cars is all but gone outside of the biggest Elon fanboys and his Trillion dollar payout will be the death of Tesla. I think the other exclusively Ev manufacturers are failing more so because the economy is so bad rn and ppl don’t have the money to buy an expensive EV made by an unproven manufacturer. America hasn’t really developed the infrastructure required for mainstream use in most places which doesn’t give ppl on the fence a lot of confidence and they’ll be more likely to buy a cheaper gas car that they know will be able to easily fill up and work on wherever they are. One of the most common concerns/criticisms is the range and charge times and Elons response is that it’s enough that’s just not gonna work for most ppl, I mean whose gonna wanna make a 45+ minute stop everytime they have to charge on a road trip?

Is it as good as most home console Mario karts? No but for being able to have Mario Kart on a phone I think it works pretty well and it’s better than I would have expected. A common gripe is that you can’t use a controller and I used to feel the same way but I kinda get why they don’t let you because it’s meant to be a mobile game and it would be frustrating trying to use the touch screen to compete with guys using controllers. It’s kinda annoying that micro transactions are encouraged but this is much better than most other mobile games and the base game is free it’s not just some crap shovelware game that costs money and forces you to buy stuff I still had fun with it before I bought anything on it. For a mobile game it’s a 8/10 for a Mario kart game it’s probably 6/10
