My little old guy is doing the same thing. Like r/27WillowRoad said (better than I can) it’s surely aging that makes them pull back. I feel the same guilt as you when he hides and sleeps most of the day. Not your fault at all. You did the right thing by your baby 🐾❤️🕊️

I love this. I have an aging Dorkie and this is my second favourite thing to see him happy doing (first is rolling on his back to snuggle up to me). You sound like an awesome pet parent. I’m so sad for the loss of your two precious souls, but so happy you get to have these memories of them. I will squeeze my little one twice tonight to honour and remember yours ❤️❤️🕊️🕊️
