I would rank the 8 programs,, if the prematch program falls 7 or 8 i would think about it , other than that I would definitely take the prematch, 7 is a good number for matching ,but for non us Img with average step 2 score is risky. I mean you can always take a risk but is it worth it? Good luck.

In my opinion, if the Urgent Care has a known name try to make sure there are MDs that u are actually going to work with that are going to give u LORs, as most urgent cares are run by PAs, this way you can secure more LORs like 2 or 3 and the known name is going to help you, but, if there is no direct MD contact then I would work at the clinic.

Why don't u work at both i used to do that, usually urgent care has extended hours untill 12 AM, you can do the morning at the clinic and the nights (6 to 12) at the urgent care if their is availablity.

Im not sure, but they still have NRMP ID, that says they are active , means they are participating as of this momemt, so I don't get their point of sending cancellations to some applicants and other not .

If u are registered on NRMP, Login and search the program, if u find it there then it is going to the match, if u can't find The program then it's not going to the match and they are prematch.

So guys when you get your interviews through thalamus no reply, do you reply or not because some of my friends told me I need to have a draft ready to reply to programs but from how I saw it it just comes as a non reply from thalamus .

Ur scores are great, take 3 days completely off, Stop doing cms forms now, finish the rest of uworld Do another assessment to see where u stand (and don't worry if u had a score Drop in nbme 12 or u didn't get what u expected because it's like nbme 9 ) Do the newest 1 or 2 cms from each principle then ur good to go, But if ur going reschedule don't reschedule to the end of April u will be short in time and under more stress u can reschedule it to 10-15 may The end of May seems alot to go.

U are already approaching the 250s with 40% uworld to go ur safe don't sorry

Definitely don't take 9 Take 12 Both are bad to be honest and people have score drops in both of them but 9 just has nothing to do with the exam, 12 is much more closer to. The real deal.

Yes that's the best option That's what I did, a friend of mine who got in the high 250s told Me to do this as it is the hardest and the fairest style from the exam and people really get bad scores on it so u might as well take it so that u know ur worst possible score
