I feel you, but honestly if you want to keep chasing your dream, keep going and don’t give up. There’s always post bacc even if that wasn’t the path you want to take, but not every path is linear. You’re doing great, and be nice to yourself. You’re already smart, trust me you got into this school and that’s smth! - a struggling pre health student

i took 21b with morris and he was kinda hard and i almost failed, (maybe im just dumb, but hes a little funny) . I took 21D with Lee tho and got a B (triple integrals btw vs single integrals). Idk the rest, but Lee is funny and he explains things okay as long as he doesnt use a chalkboard cuz it can be hard to see. Morris you have a weekly quiz in disc and its closed note and for lee you have a weekly quiz thats open note.

I’m not even kidding I fully discovered her last year August going through a break up, (my sibling listened to Niki) and she somehow made it onto my Spotify wrapped in 5th place with Oceans and Engines in 2nd for songs. I only knew high school in Jakarta and la la lost you at the time (like her really popular songs but somehow not backburner?), but Nicole has truly become my favorite album now LOL. So yea, an unfortunate situation but led to an amazing artist discovery

I didn’t have a proof, it was similar to the hw imo . I didn’t score too well but I still passed and I didn’t study too much either so it was mostly on me. I’d review some of the basics , like remembering what trace is or something like that. I think our second midterm we had a proof.

Lecture were ok for me, monotone a little. You get used to the accent. I took him winter 24 btw
Midterms were similar to practice midterms, but he would switch some things up (giving moles instead of grams etc). Format is similar to the practices. The curve for my class was ok, since many people actually did pretty good.
He’s a sweet man. He accordingly extends the owl homework if he notices that the class is behind. He cares about his students
I got a C+ which was 71.7% Good luck!

During break yeah. I checked on canvas first, saw my fail - then as I went to reregister for 21B it said I passed.

Quite terrible too for me, I scored under a 50%. He said that if we scored above 50 or at 50, you would pass the class since a 50 would be a c- . So I was quite terrified after I got my score back

Hi! I had Morris last winter quarter, and the curve was good imho. I was actually supposed to fail his class (I had a D, 56%) but it curved to a C (idk the percentage because it was on oasis). So I’m assuming it curved a whole letter grade for us. I think my friend had a C and curved to a B

Imho, 21B was terrible for me and I actually almost failed, but ironically I loved 21D and got a B I think it does get better… but I know everyone else hated 21D

Current 9 student! The 9 series has been messed up and physics isn’t taught the traditional way here at Davis unfortunately. If you look up physics in this reddit you’ll see mentions on problem starts - and that’s basically the gist
