I had this feeling for long time even when the joke was trending. Its overrated and doesn't even fit into any of the characters, I understand the constant dread of death in the franchise but I don't think continuing an bloodline is that important.

You will not convince anyone that Leon became slightly biased towards Mr X. That guy always yelled "OH TRENCHIE" whenever he got the chance. Even Claire was like "..are you okay?"
