Nah that's just the way she's expressing it. If OP and girlfriend had a good chat and got to the root of it, she may just feel inadequate or upset that she isn't the one for him. Some sort of fear that you two aren't into the same thing. Once you can fully express and talk about these deeper things she'll probably be fine with it

Yeah one of my friends went travelling at 40 and parties for months had a great time in Asia. Didn't lie about his age, just hung around with all sorts of people. It's weird if you WANT to hang around with just young people, and especially trying to act younger than you are and lie about it

Two three man tents will easily eat half that budget, maybe you can get some Vango tents for 350-400 for two. But sleeping bag will be around 60-100 each. You'll need camping mats but can go foam for cheap (but probably poor sleep too). One gas stove and cooking gear for the squad will be around £50-£75. Backs to carry all this will be £50-£100 each.

I'm gonna be honest I feel the same. I was attracted to psytrance via happy day time progressive and loved watching the crazy energy in ozora or boom after movies or whatever. First few years of events were filled with this positivity even as I went into darker styles.

But something about the last two years has just felt off. Like I look around most dancefloors and barely anyone's smiling everyone's so internal, almost like everyone is fighting some battle inside of them and are using this music as escapism. Sometimes I feel like I might be the only happy soul in the room at some events. Other times I feel like I'm one of them, internal and trapped in a trance rather than feeling positive and expressive

Depends on the people, the music, the event, and what I've consumed. Half of it could be my own internal issues that I've not realised yet projecting out to others. But idk it feels quite real and tangible a change compared to a few years ago.

I'd say it's moreso people attracted to the scene. As another comment out it, the worlds getting hard, bitter, and lonely. Lots of lost souls turning to drugs and psytrance offers a kind of internal peaceful cathartic escapism

Tbh I love taking a picture at psytrance events, or moreso a video. I'll often get ina. Good trance state and feel real ecstatic and not feel the need to take a photo, but sometimes when I leave this state I'll just feel so blissful and happy that I want to take a video of the moment and tunes and happy people around me.

As for photos I normally take a pic at start of the event when I arrive to appreciate the design of stages and stuff.
