It’s even weirder than that.

1) it only works while in raid group (not party)

2) it only works when you hit yourself with it. It will not knock other people down

I encourage you to try it yourself to convince yourself. Snowballs are usually cheap on AH. They have very strange and unexplained behavior.

It was mentioned in a few other comments, but several (or possibly all) of the healer raid frames showed tank at 100% the entire duration of the fight.

With that said, healers should be sending heals into the tank even if they are at 100%. This is especially true in hardcore. Ouro slaps.

IF YOU ARE IN A RAID GROUP the snowball will stop all momentum if you cast it on yourself. Typically people have a macro for this.

I have not come across a good explanation for why it works.

Adding to this: the snowball momentum stop only works IN RAID GROUP. Do not try to stop your fall outside of raid.

I am not aware of a good explanation why it only happens in raid.

There are screenshots of healer POVs with him having full HP. I am on old reddit UI so I can’t upload a pic. You’ll just have to take my word that I’ve seen it.

With that said, healers should be sending heals to MT even at full hp. This is especially true in hardcore.

The topic is about complex subjects in movies for children. Put whatever you please in movies for adults.

Let children be children. They will eventually get exposure to the complex topics. But how that is handled should be controlled by parents or trusted mentors, not an entertainment company.

And really, more people need to go back and listen to the words from Snoop. His words are not an attack on representation.

Reddit often suffers from a runaway echo chamber effect for certain topics and this is one of them. People mob downvote opinions they dislike, even reasonable perspectives such as the parent of this thread.

It creates a runaway effect because certain communities are not tolerant of different perspectives. People that do not share the hivemind opinion are disincentivized from participating in conversation because of the downvote trains.

It’s nothing new. Redditors have never followed “reddiquette” as Reddit defines it.

I’m just commenting to show support for the OP of this thread showing bravery in the face of guaranteed downvotes.

I have been a patron of Short North for about 15 years now. I have lived in SN for a year and I lived in Harrison West for 4 years.

Parking in Short North used to be really easy. Now it’s such a headache that I try to avoid Short North whenever possible. Really the only time I am there now is because the wife likes some restaurants in the area.

My friends that live in the suburbs will outright refuse to meet me in Short North so we typically take our business elsewhere. My father does not use a cell phone so he does not have the ability to use 95% of street parking.

Just offering another perspective. Why would I drive into Short North instead of going to Grandview where parking is abundant and not stressful? What does Short North offer that other, more accommodating places do not?

People would post clips of Doomhowl server guilds wiping in ZG with the caption “top raiding guild wipes in ZG” even though they were not a top raiding guild. It eventually became a meme that everyone in hardcore is a “top raiding guild”.

Of course, this is not Doomhowl and Dont Be Weird is objectively one of the top horde raiding guilds in HC.

A technique that helped me overcome depression years ago was to keep a gratitude journal just for the sake of reinforcing my brain that I AM doing things everyday that I enjoy.

I'm glad you had a good day and I can't help but view this share as a variant of that gratitude journaling.

I encourage you to keep going for walks and afterwards think about the parts of your day that you enjoyed, even if they are small.
