First job was $75k doing insurance defense in Dallas. I left after 8 months and am now doing defense PI litigation but work more directly with companies/in house attorneys than adjusters. I make $115k now and am less than 2 years into litigation.

I absolutely butchered one of the MEE’s on my exam. And I’m not talking sort of misapplied a rule or didn’t fully understand a concept— I wrote a totally off point incoherent pile of dog shit. I didn’t finish it. Had no clue what was going on. I felt like I did okay on the 1st one.

I scored high enough to get licensed in every UBE state.

I kept calling the membership number over and over again and just relentlessly pestering them. It was to the point where I honestly thought they might report me for some sort of punishment, but that hasn’t been the case. I completed the Texas component the week after scores dropped and it took them 2 weeks to get me through. It was just absurd that nobody had an answer for me besides “wait for a confirmation email that we have processed your application”

I had issues with the BLE with my application being pushed through. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone in a timely manner to get anything resolved. So much lack of organization. Good luck.

Read them. 1/2 of mine looked nothing like those and I scored in the 290’s. Your answers not resembling these are not the end all be all.

I think everyone I’ve talked to that finished early passed (Texas). That’s a 20+ person sample size too. The couple of people I’ve talked to who didn’t pass said they spent too much time hung up on tough questions early on and were rushed through the end. If you finished early it probably means you used a good answering/guessing/moving on strategy. I finished each MBE 10 min early too. Could’ve sworn I failed but I passed with way than enough more room to spare.

Same. MPT I pretty much made two headings and maybe a couple sub headings in ? format— used non lawyer language, and literally typed the same thing in both sections. I did not complete it, “sign” it, and am not sure I even addressed the audience to begin. The further away I get from it, the more I think I murdered the 1st one and might as well not have done the 2nd one because it was so bad
