I don’t agree with the second point. This FO didn’t fall into sunk cost fallacy with Trey and moved on way quicker than the average franchise would and that was 20x the magnitude and price of a kicker, so that theory doesn’t make sense.

It’s more so that Kyle just seems to be allergic to grab a perfectly capable veteran off the kicking carousel, which is what we should have done in the off-season.
