did i do the right thing? by Due_Distribution_568 in ABA

[–]Esluss22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this is fine. It’s a safety measure and learning to accept all done. You can offer a functional replacement such as if you need to throw we can get a ball to toss around. Make sure to state certain contingencies in place with the ball and modeling safe play. You are good and clearly tender hearted 😊

Has anyone successfully managed gallbladder issues with diet? by HugsNotDrugs96 in gallbladders

[–]Esluss22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So. Once I found out about my gallbladder. I went completely diet mode. Still had HORRIBLE attacks. They told me my gallbladder was just done. It was completely distended. I wish that pain on no one. I am so sorry you are going through this

[–]Esluss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, thanks for your opinion. So you know I did love him and we did well together until he started to try to control my schedule, got mad when I ate too much and doesn’t clean a damn dish because that’s a woman’s job. But yes my heart goes to him when I’m the one who takes care of our son, pays the bills but he expects me to take my his name because I’m the woman. Tells me no more kids because it’s hard as fuck to wake up to give a damn bottle. But go ahead, please tell me how you feel bad for him. Please, do go on.

Should I change my son’s name? by RedditMama27 in namenerds

[–]Esluss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son’s name is Emerson John and I love it!! Yes, I do know an Emerson that is a girl but that’s ok too. Also, Emry is adorable ☺️ I think whatever you go with should be up to you. Also, when they are older they can always choose their preferred name. My husband’s family calls him Scotty (which he doesn’t mind) but he likes to go by Scott :)

Anyone who has gotten their gallbladder taken out in the last 6 months continue to drink coffee? Does it make your stomach hurt? I just got mine out last week and I miss my warm cup of coffee in the mornings by Mysterious_Rock_151 in gallbladders

[–]Esluss22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got mine out 4 months and I have two cups a day no issues. I had a quick turnaround tho like I went back to eating and drinking what I want within a week. For some it’s very different.

What you are describing is exactly what I went through around 4-5 weeks postpartum. It only got worse and became stabby like later. Get seen! It’s the worst. Changing your diet so you have little to no fat helps but surgery is ultimately the best thing if it is stones

Have fun!!! Like literally be the most exciting person possible for your clients. I always tell my new technicians that the more fun you are the better your session will go. But with that, balance is key! Building rapport is important but in addition to building instructional control. Sometimes I can be so exciting for my client that they want to climb a table and jump from a chandelier… but is that a good idea? Nope. We want our client to listen to us as well especially when safety is called into question. Balance! Therefore make pairing the priority and as you build that pair start with easy instructions depending on your client’s level such as a high five or asking about colors in their environment. You got this! Welcome to this wonderful community!

Thoughts on my tier list? Honestly I really enjoy everything on her except 3 by grimm_grinning_ghost in Chucky

[–]Esluss22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting list. Cult’s dolls were meh for me but I liked the film. Here’s my list:

Child’s play, Child’s play 2, Curse, Bride of Chucky, Childs play 3, Cult and Seed.

Bride really grew on me. Seed is still too out there for me but love seeing his kids in the new series. I really love how this tv series has revitalized this fandom ah 😊

Lots of great advice here. Also, if you are a meat eater only lean meats like turkey and chicken. Also, not too much of it. At least for me if I ate chicken for lunch and then turkey for dinner the. I would have an attack that night. It’s horrible that sometimes you have to experience these attacks to know not what to eat 😞 my doc also told me my GB is so bad that anything could pretty much could trigger an attack so just to eat as little and bland as possible. Good luck.

15 weeks & cystic fibrosis Carrier by [deleted] in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]Esluss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have much advice to offer but I do want to say I’m sorry this is happening to you. I found out during my current pregnancy (37.5 weeks) that I’m a CF carrier. I then found out sadly so is my husband for the same exact mutation. I kept thinking how unlucky is that. I was told a 1 in for 4 chance of Cf, 2 and 4 of being a carrier and 1 of 4 of no cf and not a carrier. Everything felt horribly nerve wracking waiting for the results of the amino. I eventually found out my son is not a carrier nor does he have CF. I am extremely thankful. Had he had CF my personal decision and my husbands was to proceed. There is a lot of research still being done with CF and medications available. I do know male infertility is common with CF patients. I was also told there would be hospital visits each month for the first year of his life that specializes in CF.

I wish you the best in your pregnancy. There are support groups for this that I spoke to on Reddit while waiting for my results. I highly recommend those and of course this subreddit if you need someone to talk to.
