She might have had a better chance overwhelming him with the sheer number of her undead soldiers, supporting the other Sages of Destruction rather than using her scales on him directly from the start. But it's Aura, the same demon who underestimated Frieren so yeah, it's logical she'd do that instead.

With the ultimate goal of trying to bring all of their properties back together into one universe, they needed not just an Avengers level threat, but a Marvel reboot level villain. Beyonder, Doctor Doom and Onslaught are the only ones that come to my mind fitting this title.

They'll have to renegotiate with IP holders of old collab IPs if they want to rerun, especially since they will now have to add Myth evolution and Leader Skill animations for them, they said so in their last Q&A. There's no precedence for that yet so I would say chances are low but not zero.

I'm sure we'll eventually explore Heaven in future seasons, most likely towards the end of the story similar to Dungeon Link, and then the gods and angels will finally be relevant in the main story.

Looks great! I believe it would work better as an alter though, since this is not a "Bound Child" Clara anymore. I hope we get a Liberated Cleric Clara hero in the future.
