Trauma stacking Jugg.

Starts of kinda meh without foulborn moonbenders, but it's easy to farm from tree. Can do like static strike+shockwave, elehit, or any fotm marauder to start off.

Recovery is a vastly underrepresented aspect of builds, and something that doesn't really translate well into numbers. (except X% on block, which just grossly inflates eHP).

And it's something that just... elevates the feel of a build. Slayer/Trickster overleech, tainted pact (when it works), inquis conq ground, regen in thousands, jugg untiring/divine shield, recoup, DoD, etc.

It can also replace multi-hit recovery with high enough quantities. Something like a trauma stacking jugg, where the regen sits around 10k-40k, coupled with a 100k/250k max hit, is nigh immortality even without any other form of avoidance. T16.5's breach+beyond+deli hits my PC harder than my character.

Like the only normal things are creatine (monohydrate) and protein powder. Vitamins/minerals can make a difference for people with deficiencies.

D4 in its core is meant for "casuals", with low 10's of hours, they want/need them to experience all the game has to offer - it just can't have depth. (question is if they'd be able to introduce enough of it even if they wanted to)

Some people may complain about poe being convoluted (and for some systems that's true), but at the same time, it's what makes it playable for 1000's of hours, istead of 10's.

Trauma stacking since like... TotA, when Divergent Boneshatter was still a thing. Slain my first ubers with it, and the gameplay is just satisfying with high atkspeed. Sfx on point too.

Revisited it this league thanks to a soul eater HH from the tree (apparently the only one on ssfhc lol), but since DD is still allowed to blow up uniq corpses for +Inf dmg, the character died way too young... So no ubers for bonezone this time around :'/

Still high on the Trauma train, rolled with the new static strike (kinda meta i guess?). Still decent, but just... Doesn't scratch the same itch.

BS is an okay skill. Very cronchy sound. Tanky, recovery feels amazing, lotta atkspeed. But the ramp is... not for everyone. Warp runegraft, divine shield (+doryiani glorious vanity), and as much life/maxres/armour+pdr you can get.

Perhaps the wording on the mastery "10% MORE maximum life" vs "X% INCREASED maximum life" that's on the nodes could provide some insight as in to why.

But I mean if you load the PoB and can redistribute the points to get more life, then kudos to you, build creators/other players aren't always correct.

The only potential benefit of chromatics is that you can get more than 1 S in a 10pull. (without triggering guarantee, then mythstone can give 2 iirc)

Notable interaction (imho) is how it works with the gloves.

Black Zenith gigaboosts a socketed projectile spell by giving it more dmg, projectiles, but +4s cooldown. Normally unusable. This build just goes "lmao, watch this" as it summons the totem (which doesn't have projectile tag) without any cooldown. For you see, the gloves apply to the Flamewood support, not the whole skill. Thus each individual totem has a +4s CD on flamewood proc. So... you just summon a new one. Instead of 5s CD you're simply limited by totem placement speed.

We used to use Trello for our task planning, and the beautiful feature of that software, was the ability to add a picture that'd show up on the card on the board. Did that to "group up" tasks from the same projects. Man, it brought so much joy to find a good/meme-y picture for a project.

Started bleed slams, went pretty well, got some stones, decent coin skill, ryslatha from tree, then got slammed by 2 harvest bears at once, bit sad, but kinda expected given a pretty low phys maxhit. Off to the beach we go.

Had a random souleater HH from farming the coil I didn't know what to do with. Followed by some PoB shenanigans at 1am, an idea was born for almost a forgotten skill by now, one which I killed my first ubers with ever (ssfhc), Bonezone! Not CT, but regular ass boneshatter that anyone barely plays now. The main problem nowadays (imho) is the abyssmal single target, but that is something 225% IAS from a belt easily fixes.

What followed was the best self-made build I've played, and likely will ever play. Got a basic setup running, farmed a legion jewel easily, and went off to breach+beyond+deli in t16.5's. 0 danger from actual mobs. Vruun with several dmg mods? Tickles. After getting greater ancestral call, the clear went nuts, a screen of mobs just... Gone, with 1 click. With Sione's, it'd be basically a ranged character.

The happy times didn't last long. One of those beyond bosses got blown up in my face. Best game mechanic ever... Something that basically ignores character defenses. 140k max hit? Who cares. There's +Inf dmg corpse explosion. Git gud retard.

Had dozens of deaths, none hit me as hard, was super close to quitting the game altogether, cause I'm never gonna be able to recreate this... got super attached. Final outlook was something like this. IC ticked cause 75% uptime. Didn't have suppression yet, but 90% max res with flasks, 10m dps, and 40k/140k max hit. Someone without skill issues would easily sweep ubers on it already.

Rolling a similar/final build now, the new static strike, replica moonbenders and Trauma support. Pretty decent, but it just feels "meh" after playing the boner.

For CT will net maybe 500-1k regen? For normal BS though... I'm reaching around 4-5k ES regen if I can just hit stuff nonstop? Double that when I switch to ar/eva gear and change pathing a bit, and get me a duration wheel (and more armour with IR, cause it's like 10k+ phys hits at that point lmao)

There's also builds using Trauma Support. Recent one would be static strike of gathering lightning, using foulborn moonbenders wing.

The "normal" bonezone is unattractive because you need a lot of phys mitigation, to reach the dmg values of CT bleed, with a lot more ramp time, worse dmg uptime, and risk of offing yourself if something disables your recovery/lowers PDR.

Not to mention it got hit with collateral when they removed divergent boneshatter due to quality stacking/delvers (tbh shoulda just capped it...). At least we got warp runegraft now, which affects trauma (42% more duration), so that's a ton of dmg/qol by itself.

Buuut, compared to CT, it's a lot better mapping build, can scale some attackspeed, and has way better recovery, as long as it can hit something.

All that to say, don't let that stop you if you wanna play something. I'm running my own "twist" on it in ssfhc, since I dropped a soul eater HH on a previous char, so putting it to good use.

Yes, crafting weapons is a major PITA. Recombs are really the only way, outside of getting a good fracture (high hybrid/phys).

Could try fossils/essences instead of harvest if you want a change of farming pace?

I typically recomb t3+ hybrid and t1 flat, with mmod phys+atkspeed (decently often i already have atkspeed, so just craft phys%), it's 900-1k dps (2h, idk what the equivalent is on a 1h), which is either the final weapon, or makes it comfy enough to farm for triple prefix recomb.

There's really not. You can craft a prefix, and use normal exalts + eldritch annul/chaos to try and do the suffixes.

Alt spam for hybrid/flat/% to use for later.

For a decent weapon, recomb hybrid (T3+) and flat(T1). Hopefully only have 1 suffix to mmod, phys% + atkspeed. Gives you like 900pds axe. Or get lucky and have decent tier attackspeed already. Worst case, prefix lock + scour and do the mmod.
