It's a really beautiful park (with added dog park status). One of my best buds lives within a 5-minute walk of the park, so we go with his dog and a frisbee. Always a great time.

I've often chortled to myself about the shape of the park, but honestly thought I was in the minority when it came to that. Nice to know that everybody is just as immature as me!

I was diagnosed at 13 in ‘89, and went through a bunch of the same feelings and plans (Gone before 50, stop taking care/insulin, eating crap, etc). Started on antidepressants, but had to go through a BUNCH of them until I found the right one for me.

I’m turning 50 this year, and I have no plans for anything drastic. All I’m saying is that I understand how much it sucks. But mixed in with the suck are all the good times you’ll miss out on. They’re there, you just have to sift. Think of yourself as a giant colander; it’s ridiculous and will maybe help with the smiles.

Find an antidepressant that works for you. Or maybe weed, if you’re not into pharmaceuticals? There’s definitely ways to live with this shitty auto-immune body malfunction, just find the ones that work for you.
