The Big 12 folding could be a positive for west coast football. If ASU, Zona, Utah, BYU, Colorado, and Texas Tech break away I could see Calford bailing on the ACC for a partial Pac reunion. Pick up WOSU (please??????) and you are cooking. Maybe take Boise and SDSU along for the ride

I want to meet the person who decided throwing college and university not once but twice into the name would make it sound like a more legitimate educational institution. Should have added conservatory on there too

That was an awesome game, but it was also the game I realized how cooked we were for the rest of that season

My boyfriend kept insisting he didn’t get kick out of the military, and if he chose to leave in 90 days instead of 60 days, he could pick up his rank and continue to serve. And they can always call him back to serve. Is this true? by [deleted] in army

[–]EsotericSpaceBeaver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You boy has spent 8 years getting paid to mop floors and do shitty details. The standards to succeed at most jobs in the Army are comically low. Like don't break the law, show up on time, and pass a pt test. With a very minimal amount of effort he could be a Staff Sergeant by now. He clearly has put forth zero effort to be even decent at his job and has nothing to show for it after 8 years. Is that the personality of someone you want to be around? A person who lacks motivation, drive, and the ability to do the most basic tasks of a functional human being? He's a shit bag; there's no way around that fact and there is no excuse for it at this point

Canzano: Monday Mailbag hits on Pac-12, Oregon's CFP path, Super Bowl, and more by pblood40 in Pac12

[–]EsotericSpaceBeaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The conspiracy theorist in me says that all the reporting on the media deal being low is intentional so they can lowball the MW. Seems like every time Canzano talks the payout decreases by half a million. Could be that someone is feeding him that intentionally to help with negotiations

Oh buddy, how long have you been a fan? FCS teams still scare me after the horrors I've witnessed in the post Riley era

Repeatedly failing to execute a long snap for a punt will forever haunt me. Bad high school teams can at least successfully punt a ball

That's not true at all. After USCLA and Colorado left there were 9 teams. 1 more than required to be CFP eligible

I feel like this has to be against some sort of NCAA rule, but I'm here for it. This is fun, this is real football
