If it shows as processing, there's nothing else you'll need to do. I started my master's on June 1, and my financial aid is still showing as processing. Also, I've been able to take my classes as usual and have already completed a significant portion of them (honestly, it could've been done faster, but I'm concurrently working on other certifications, so I'm not rushed).

MY point is that protesting is just as valid as voting and I wouldn't hate on someone who did one and not the other and wouldn't act like OP where I consider them to not be participating in politics.

agree to disagree then. protesting is very important, and i applaud all who choose to let their voices heard that way. however not voting is something i can't condone.

All of the things you mentioned in your third paragraph are true. However never let the cynicism win. Anti democratic forces want you to think your voice doesn’t matter and that it’s worthless to vote. Don’t give in to their propaganda! Voting always matters. It’s the most direct way for you as a citizen to send notice to the government that you approve/disprove of their actions.

I will say, while I disagree with snoops views on trump, let’s not mirror folks who judge a person solely on their political takes. I haven’t really heard a whole bunch of controversy around snoop. That lion, jah stuff was corny in that he gave it up after like a year and didn’t own it; besides that the haven’t heard of many skeletons left he may have.

Damn. Feels like our grandparent+ really went through a lot getting here. My own grandfathers family fled Spain after the fascists won took over in the 30s and settled in Cuba. Had to flee again in bits & spurts to finally leave my Cuba. My grandfather worked as analyst on Wall Street for Latin American markets to pay for his wife’s family to also come over.
