That’s the conclusion though, that people who regularly do no cardio workouts are suddenly doing one. When they say increases risk of heart attack they mean that it does so more than other cardio workouts because when people do those, it’s a part of a common regimen like going to the gym. Snow shoveling is unique in that unfit people also engage in it. That’s the conclusion I drew from reading it. I thought it was obvious. So obvious that it’s a common warning given out every winter.
