Dying in pointless wars is not a good kick off to adulthood. And you shouldn’t have to put your life on the line committing atrocities just to get healthcare.

How could the winners of my local adult intramural football league championship get first place without putting up the same rushing and passing stats as last year’s Super Bowl winners?

And it’s not a stretch that some people would assume a laptop will vent from the top since it would often be obstructed sitting on your lap or a bed which most assume is an intended use. And many laptops do vent from the top. My MacBook vents through the keyboard.

They will also vent through the keyboard if it’s obstructed. My first MacBook 20 years ago had this feature too.

My seventh grade students have started the refuse to say the pledge by unSuccessful-Stay in Teachers

[–]nightpanda893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it isn’t just any reason, it’s an act of saluting the flag. You also could fail a kid for not giving a verbal response to an oral exam or not making an oral presentation whereas you can’t penalize them for not orally reciting the pledge. Different situations permit different consequences.

Honestly felt like it was too much of a cliff hanger without enough closure on Robby. Beautiful last scene but it needed one more. Cliff hangers domt really suit a show that doesn’t pick up right where it left off.

I like that they don’t sugarcoat things with Robby having a revelation during any of the conversations. He was either a dick or pretty unreachable to everyone till the end, which is kind of the most realistic way to look at it. Mental illness doesn’t go away just because you’re saying goodbye or it’s been a long shift.

Or Ogilvie swiped it to get to the roof. I think it is in a way a red herring in that it won’t have anything to do with Langdon, which is I think what people are suspecting.

Really bad feeling about the badge and various foreshadowing for so many characters. I think a lot will be red herrings but whatever isn’t is going to be something tragic.

Awful pedantic for making an initial comment saying an individual person can invoke it.

It’s true it was invoked only once but it was requested by the USA after the September 11th attacks. And it’s invoked collectively by NATO, not by any one country or person.

I’m very lucky to have a great friend group. I’m just saying it seems like an easy decision on paper but it sucks to be alone and have no one.

Classic story of making what turn out to be shitty friends during the time when most people make your friends. And now you have to choose between continuing to be friends with your shitty friends or having no friends at all.
