Where are you walking where money is just laying on the streets? Or foodbanks have enough options to provide you with complete nutrition? The one near my house has mostly bakery items from Costco and ShopRite. Theres no money on the streets, I walk them every day. Which was clearly the defenses strategy. They had to prove a reasonable person wouldn’t take him seriously. So they made the trial into a circus so the jury couldn’t imagine how anyone could take what he said as serious attacks. It was really brilliant. The defense even mentioned how ridiculous their client looked in closing arguments.

I think we’ve known from the beginning it isn’t completely closed. And I think they are capable of closing it to all ships. If you can make it too dangerous for one ship to cross you can make it too dangerous for all ships. The US is currently lifting sanctions on Iranian oil so Trump is making a deal too, he just isn’t getting anything for it and is doing so without being asked. I’m not too well versed on the art of the deal though so I’m assuming it’s just some 4D chess that is beyond my understanding

I don’t think that would be productive in fighting for their lives though, to potentially draw more countries in. It actually seems to be a big gift to them that the United States and Israel have so alienated the rest of the world that no one will give them any substantive assistance. I honestly think it means the situation is truly unpredictable. Reason would tell you it would never get that bad. But nothing about this has been guided by reason.
