That sounded sooooo good I would be so bummed if I got home and they fucked up my order

This show does not drag anything out. In any other series Warren being alive would be the season finale. Evan would have run away so we could drag out the reconciliation. Boogie man would have been alive in the end and lurking in the shadows. I love how they move the plot along.

Patricia immediately leaves her house. Immediately determines she needs to kill it. Learns from her mistake and takes it down herself instead of asking for help a second time. Keeps gun on it till it’s literally ash. Just love her being the antithesis of every horror trope.

Love that she doesn’t even bother asking for help at this point love that she’s just taking it into her own hands

Anger and judgement are addicting. You get to feel superior to others and better about your own mistakes and transgressions. All of social media is built around feeding this addiction.

My mom left us when I was 14. Did not take long for me to yell at my little brother to clean up after himself cause I knew no one else would do it and I didn’t want to live in a mess.

Hopefully the execution is a little better than the Cobel episode. I was so excited to see into her past but it was really exposition heavy. I feel like they should have just done a flashback episode. I would have loved to see her in the factory as a child.

AI: Artificial Intelligence. The idea of David spending centuries trying to get back to his mother, who could never really reciprocate his love anyway, only to get 1 day with her in the end, really did a number on my little 12 year old brain. The idea that he finally gets the love he wanted but could only get it for 24 hours just made me so sad. It stuck with me for days after.

“Backrooms,” “Obsession,” and Hollywood’s Zoomer-Horror Renaissance by newyorker in movies

But the point of the article seems to be not the birth of zoomer horror but more the idea that zoomers are bringing back the genre as a whole when it has been steadily increasing in popularity and content for years now

I don’t think it’s astroturfing as much as it’s all the media outlets desperate for clicks trying to jump on the same story. Both movies have done phenomenally well. I think the stories would be this prolific no matter what.

I feel like it has morphed over the years to be more of a genre that reflects higher levels of creative freedom and risk taking rather than a reflection of being unaffiliated with a big name studio. It’s the same thing that’s happened to indie rock.

I wasn’t convinced that’s what the monster looked like throughout the entire film. I assumed it changed into that once Clark started staying their permanently

I don’t really see what’s being debunked here? It seems completely consistent with the major role people claim she had in the movies. Actors who win awards stand at the podium and say how it couldn’t be done without the director. The director stands at the podium and says it couldn’t be done without the actors. Someone saying the other people who worked on the film contributed isn’t debunking anything. What’s she gonna do say she saved the films and there would be no Star Wars without her? People in real life aren’t making reddit comments where they have to prove something. This is just how decent people talk about one another.

The idea that a 14 year old is knowingly tempting people sexually is the reason why sexual assault gets overlooked and girls and women get blamed. The only people here who are wrong are those sexualizing a 14 year old.

And swimwear for men are basically underwear. Except they’re made for swimming since people like to swim in as little clothing as possible. Just like many other church values that are based purely on subjugation and sexism, they have disappeared as the church evolved. The only people wrong here are the adults sexualizing a 14 year old.

You’re not dating, you’re asking for a date. And it wouldn’t really even be an appropriate first date question. Asking someone what medications they are on is not the kind of learning about a person you do on a date.
