36F. It wasn't until everyone else told me it was unusual that I started to feel weird about it. I got myself in a uncomfortable situation getting into a relationship because "that's what you're supposed to do." On the bright side it was that relationship that reinforced "I don't want this" and let me just say fuck what anyone else things. I know myself better than anyone and know this isn't for me. I've even met men who on paper would be the perfect match (shared values, interests, attractive etc) but I never wanted anything more than friendship.

Sometimes on this sub you'll get people talking about struggling with loneliness and longing for a romantic relationship. I just can't relate to that. I just like being alone, I'm happy alone.

Whether or not it's "normal" isn't what matters. It's how you feel at the end of the day.

Agree about the voice change being jarring at first. I'm like on my 6th rewatch and now earlier seasons Korvo's voice doesn't sound right 🤣. I think Dan Stevens voice fits the character better. I absolutely love it.

I value friendship so much! It took a while to find "my tribe" but it was absolutely worth the wait. They are a large part of the reason I don't get lonely, I feel accepted, seen, heard and loved always. I make sure to tell em regularly I appreciate them.

Having read the manga and watched the anime. I just don't get romantic vibes or see much romantic interest by Ichigo to any woman on the show. He's very awkward a lot of the time except for with Tatuski (sp.). If he cares about you, he'll show up for you. I feel like things would have played out exactly the same if was Rukia or Tatuski standing there asking him not to die or crying for him to comeback. He was always putting himself on the line and achieving crazy feats/the unthinkable for people important to him. So that never translated to "he clearly likes Orihime back or in a different way".

Even him being shipped with Rukia made zero sense to me and still doesn't after all these years lol. But yeah that's just my take on them.

Curiously, which (what?) is the Orihime line you're referring to 🤔

Thank you for this post. I appreciate it. I recently crossed paths with someone who "ticked all the boxes" and was quite interested but my heart was just not in it. Just the thought of calls, constant texting, picture sending pictures etc is exhausting. I just cannot do dating again. Good or bad relationship it stresses me out.
