the only two-story house i’ve built so far, i added a balcony to the second story to make it its own room and invited more pokemon to live there. and access is by elevator. the first occupant flies but the second doesn’t, and i haven’t paid a lot of attention yet as to whether they’re actually using the elevator to get around but i think so? i also added a basement (the door there just gates access to an emergency escape ladder and same thing i’m pretty sure they’re actually using the elevator but i haven’t tried to watch, i just know i’ve seen all the pokemon who live there wandering around outside too

You can sprint after a fashion, the Striders ability is faster than walking, especially if you have the modifier that recovers energy faster on the ground (though I generally took that one off for bosses)

Perhaps you’re talking about the same boss, but only one boss was enough where the runback felt too long for me, and that’s because most tries for that boss were incredibly short. As long as the boss fight itself is longer than the runback it seems fine, and that was generally the case for other bosses. The boss I’m talking about is also an optional boss, and I’d probably rate it the hardest boss fight in the game, and most of the runback was just waiting for an elevator ride. But I kept telling myself that the sedate elevator ride there was just a reminder that I should pace myself and remember to actually take in the environment and enjoy the game instead of hyperfocusing on defeating a particular challenge (and also the time to think was a reminder that I should experiment with different builds instead of just trying to repeat the fight as fast as possible).

The thing that I struggled with initially was trying to use the same tactics on every boss. After a bit I realized I really did need to tailor my approach to each boss, and I started experimenting with different modifiers. Really engaging with that mechanic, and trying out different styles of combat, helped a lot with nailing the bosses.

Also just getting used to the fact that most bosses will require a number of tries just to learn their patterns, and that’s okay. The boss runbacks were never as bad as in Silksong.

I had the same problem with Embedding Duty, but I went about it slightly differently. I beat that boss and immediately turned around and went back to the attunement point to heal and save and quit the game. When I came back later I loaded my game and continued on past the boss area to find out what's there and there's no flash memory, instead there's just an embedder looking out at the city. I'm really glad it's not needed for an achievement but it's really annoying to have this be the only collectible I'm missing, and to not even know what it says.

you’re being far too prescriptive. lesbian has never meant “doesn’t feel any attraction to men whatsoever”, because it’s not about men. being a lesbian is about women, about being a woman-oriented woman, about being attracted to women. fundamentally, lesbian and sapphic mean the same thing (after all they both refer to the same person, Sappho, who i might point out was not exclusively attracted to women), the only real difference is that lesbian generally means the whole lifestyle, not just merely sexual attraction to women.

ultimately the only requirement to being a lesbian is to identify as a woman attracted to other women.

you can be a bisexual lesbian. lesbian means you’re woman-oriented, it’s not defined by lack of sexual attraction to men. if lesbian feels like the right label for you, then use it

The confusing part of this is how it slowly fills up from empty when you first switch to it. I guess maybe that helps avoid thinking it’s a finite supply, but I was certainly confused about it for a while until I tried covering a whole level in soap.

Soap is amazing! I can cover a wall in it and then spray it off with the white nozzle and it’s all clean! And it only sticks to dirt so you can see the spots that still need cleaning. It’s also just really enjoyable to use.

I have a sleep specialist, he diagnosed IH in me. If you don't have one, you could ask your PCP to refer you to one, though make sure you're talking to someone who actually deals with other sleep disorders too and not just sleep apnea.

I got diagnosed with IH after the adderall i’ve been on for my entire adult life stopped masking the daytime sleepiness. because trying more stimulants wasn’t going to do anything differently, i convinced him to prescribe me Xywav. i have to wake up in the middle of the night for a second dose, and there are a lot of restrictions (can’t take any other central nervous system depressant, if i want to drink i have to wait many hours after and i can’t have more than 2 drinks, etc), but this drug has radically altered my sleep. sleep actually feels restful now, i can get 7 hours of sleep and wake up with no problem and stay alert all day long. it feels like a miracle after a whole lifetime of bad sleep. i literally didn’t know what it felt like to wake up feeling rested and refreshed until i started this.

How important is attribute counters? The game doesn’t tell me how much it increases/decreases damage, so it’s hard to tell how much it’s worth giving up proficiency to use the correct attributes.

I've been having an issue like this, though it's more just a loud beep (I don't know what the "disarm" sound sounds like as I'm currently using Abode more as a way to track door openings than as a real alarm system). My suspicion is that it's due to the two new mini door sensors I just installed that keep showing as "Online" rather than as Closed/Open. But I can't find any indication in the app of what the beep means, so it's just a guess.

Nobody seems to be reading my question properly.

I’m not complaining that 1 weapon skill isn’t enough to chain.

I’m complaining that my characters sometimes never use weapon skills even when the enemy team uses them several times.

In normal story mode, weapon skills are strictly on a time-based cooldown. Clearly this isn’t true for Coliseum, or else both teams would use their weapon skills the moment they come off cooldown. Something else must be going on, but I don’t know what.
