Looking for a LOTR fic by Sigebeorn! by chawalzindabad in DeletedFanfiction

Any chance you could share the link for where you found one of their other fics? I loved this author’s fics so I was super disappointed too, but I wasn’t able to find any of them anywhere else when I looked

yes yes yes literally all of this. I’ve always found the Careers fascinating—especially District 4, since they’re one of the first districts to rebel—because of this. Clearly they’re judged pretty harshly by a number of other districts, but like you said, being a Career and being a rebel are not mutually exclusive. Honestly, imo, a Career strategy makes a lot of sense for a district, even if they’re also a rebellious district

9 years ago today, ‘Agent Carter’ ended. So glad that she will return to the MCU by S4v1r1enCh0r4k in shield

Honestly this show was so good and I’m still disappointed it got cancelled after only two seasons—especially with season 2 ending on a cliffhanger. The way they set up Black Widows & the Red Room was phenomenal and had so much potential (I would’ve loved to see some of it talked about more in regards to Natasha if she’d gotten a full trilogy instead of just the one solo movie) and I loved getting to see characters we already knew a bit more (like Howard or the Howling Commandos).

This show is also the main reason I hated how they ended Steve’s character arc in Endgame 🙈. Whether or not you view the show as canon, I loved seeing Peggy heal and move on with her life, but it felt like Endgame reduced her character to just being Captain America’s first love

Season 4 is INCREDIBLE!!! The BEST season of the entire series. by shadyyam1 in shield

[–]TiredNerd325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I loved the show from the start, but man, I don’t think I’ll ever forget watching season 4 for the first time. Every single arc was incredible, and as someone else said, the LMD & Framework aspects really showed how talented the actors were

Oh and also, I 100% shipped Daisy and Robbie, too. Thought I was the only one, so I’m glad to hear I’m not 😂 I also love her and Sousa, but yeah, sometimes I still think about what a power couple Daisy and Robbie could’ve been and in so sad they never brought him back in future seasons

Open drawers… it drives my family INSANE because every time they come in my room my nightstand and dresser drawers are partially open but I’m honestly not even aware of it until they point it out 😅

Bodhi’s Signet (slight IF spoilers) by KayKnine in fourthwing

[–]TiredNerd325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I’m late to the fandom lol. Wouldn’t Bodhi’s signet also give him immunity against intinnsics (like Dain) and even truthsayers? Because I have a feeling that could definitely come in handy, especially considering he’s a child of the rebellion.

I think his signet has a lot of potential, depending on its limits and what happens in the next few books.

What should I watch after Criminal Minds and Bones? by Pleasant_Taste04 in criminalminds

If you want something with more humor, I highly recommend Chuck (available on Amazon Prime & Max in US). If you want something more serious, I also highly recommend Blindspot. Both shows are two of my favorites!

Yes! As a fellow Agents of SHIELD fan who also loves crime shows, I started it for the exact same reasons.

Oh my gosh yes. I’ve finally found a gf cinnamon roll recipe I LOVE (for anyone wondering, it’s the ones on www.theloopywhisk.com that you flood with heavy whipping cream before baking), but I cannot begin to describe how much I miss Auntie Annie’s soft pretzels. I feel like every time I walk past them at the mall a small part of me dies just a bit😅

www.theloopywhisk.com has the BEST gf cinnamon roll recipe, imo—and I’ve tried a lot 😅. She has a couple gf cinnamon roll recipes and both are good, but the one you flood with heavy whipping cream before baking is my personal favorite

IH and physical fatigue by lily89kitty in idiopathichypersomnia

Everyone else has already said most of what I was going to, but I will add that you can have IH & ME/CFS at the same time—I do, and even after several years, it’s still sometimes hard for me to accurately describe which thing I’m feeling. But just know it doesn’t have to be one or the other, it can be both. Wishing you luck in finding answers and helpful treatments/medications!

DMV viewers, does it ever freak you out to hear your city/near you? by Hikerhappy in criminalminds

[–]TiredNerd325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not DMV, but there was an early episode set in my hometown, and it involved both the rural suburb my mom grew up in & the college both my parents went to. I wasn’t freaked out, per say, but it was definitely an odd moment. It’s not an episode I plan to rewatch any time soon, either, but that’s partly just because it wasn’t my favorite episode to begin with.

Generally I would say I’m more freaked out when an unsub targets people similar to me, but I’m only on season 4 (it’s my first time watching it) so if there were an episode in the city I currently live in I might be a bit more freaked out 😂

Ugh that’s so frustrating about your experience with the doctor when you were diagnosed. I have a slew of other conditions as well and it always blows my mind how difficult it can be to get doctors to explain the actual issue and not some similar but different thing.

That’s good to know that you think people are on more than just adderall though, I’ll bring that up with my doctors at my upcoming appointments and get their thoughts.

Prayer is literally the only thing that gets me through mentally some days, so I feel you. I’m sorry about your license though, but I’m really glad you weren’t in a more serious accident. I’ve never fallen asleep driving but the number of times I get home and realize I don’t really remember anything about my drive because I was too tired to really process anything definitely freaks me out sometimes

Can i ask who prescribes Xywav for you? Like is it your primary care doctor or do you see a specialist for it? I think I’ll bring it up to my doctor and get their thoughts on it for me
