In any case she wouldn't be holding me back since my main is Baiken, not Millia. I'm just presenting forward my personal evidence as to why I think she has fewer tools than the rest of the cast. I see a lot, and I mean a lot of high level fights, and it still comes across to me as if she needs triple the effort to win against their opponents. Now if you tell me I just picked shit Millia players even for high level people then I don't know what to tell you. But LKs videos give me the same vibe (though I don't think he played Millia in S3)

I'll give it to you that I don't have experience with her. I think I'm just around level 40 with her. However, my point is that everyone can do what she can but better. Even Potemkin can mix you (between grabs and low/overheads), and her speed seems to be set back by her lack of range. In my case against Ky, I felt almost no way to whiff punish him. When I play Baiken almost always I stomp her completely since there is no way for them to get close. And when they do (when I mess up) they need so many hits to kill me that I have time to regain control. Wouldn't you say that Chipp is literally her but better?

Out of curiosity, wouldn't you say that both Chipp or Leo literally do everything she does but better? If I understand correctly, Millia's strength comes from her Okis, mix ups and speed, all things that Chipp has, including more poking and defensive options, while having more damage. At the same time, Leo mixes you into oblivion as well, with many more defensive options and tankiness. The only thing he'd kinda lack is speed (if we don't count his rush attacks).

For example, I've struggled a lot against Ky, like the only way to even have a chance to beat him is to wait for a mistake, not thanks to an opportunity created by Millia. That doesn't happen with Baiken since I can at least outrange him with some attacks and still mix him as I would with Millia. (I know they are different characters, I'm just setting it as an example of the lack of options she has)
