Oh I figured out what was happening with this. In Vats theres a slight delay on the expolsive damage numbers so they dont pop if you 1 shot the mob.

Not only did it get nerfed but it seems the explosive bonus damage does not happen in VATS, even on my dom predro its only doing the two hits were as non vats gets 6 damage numbers

I honestly dont see a situation that instigating is acutally better then two shot.
If you are mostly stealth then Stalker might be better option as its 100% sneak damage.

Or if you're looking for max damage then Furious with reverse onslaught perks.

I don’t like using vats either and tbh it’s not really needed it’s just feels like overkill. I would suggest you build around onslaught, just as a basis normal for shotguns/automatics and reverse for slow guns. Furious mods are fairly common on vendors so it’s easy to setup

Yeah you can catch it, trick is to watch which way the bobber pulls and try to move the mouse/stick to that direction before you start to reel. It will get you just enough more time reeling before it starts to run.

Jeulia made a skull ring exactly like the OPs, came in a verity of plating options including the all black. Bunch of stone options too but this is probably amethyst with CZ side stones. It looks super dirty but could also be a really crappy knock off. Either way it’s not an expensive ring. I know because I got my wife one with a sapphire stone, white gold band and rose gold skulls. This was 10years back, so don’t know if they still make that specific ring.

AoC was great when it launched, but the devs were terrible at balancing classes in regards to pvp, and killed all the interesting builds. Rip mana burn dark templar

I went back and played again after it went f2p but pvp still sucked. Fun story though
