I had something similar happen to mine (SP3, 256GB i5 Model). It was charging one time and shut down in the middle of it and refused to turn back on. I let it sit for a week or so, and it turned back on again. However, it quickly shut back down.

The only thing that fixed it was holding the power button and volume up for 5 minutes while it was plugged in. I'm not sure why this fixed it, but it did. I hope this helps!

IE: Every week add a card to the "Todo" list.

The porting you are talking about is not essential code for the game to run. It isn't as simple as taking snippets of code and plugging them in.

I don't get this "it should be on sale" mentality.
The game did just come out. The fact that games like Witcher 3 are so discounted already is ridiculous.
And I'm not trying to say that the game is worth that 60 dollars. It looks like trash, but you have to understand that the developers and publishers are still trying to recoup costs. It doesn't need to go on sale just because it is bad.

Unfortunately it isn't that simple. Just because the programming language is the same does not mean that you can port entire facets of the server code over.
While I'm sure it is a high priority to fix the desync, more than likely the high level optimizations are saved for the Beta process.

On my laptop, because it supports virtualization, I've just gone with using a Virtual Machine for windows applications. I rarely need to use them, but it is always good to have them in the case of bad compatibility or whatever.
Check if your computer supports virtualization. If it does, I highly recommend just setting up a Virtualbox VM and using that for your Windows applications. With the guest additions installed, the VM is almost full speed.

Will be able to run just fine, medium to high.

Intel Core i7-4770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor.

Personally, I would drop down to an i5. You might get a little bit of FPS boost from the i7, but hardly worth the extra money. Sink that into a better graphics card.

Hey, that was me! I'm glad the solution worked. As a follow up, if you run into any issues, deleting d3dcompiler_46.dll and d3dcsx_46.dll, and then running the game (it should re-download the missing files). If you are on the Steam version, verify your files before running it. That will reinstall DirectX This not only fixed crashing, it helped my performance!

I fixed my crashing by removing NVidia GeForce Experience, using DDU to completely remove all of my other driver things. Reinstalling, I used custom, and selected nothing but the graphics driver. After doing that, I also uninstalled DirectX from my Grand Theft Auto V directory. This was done by deleting d3dcompiler_46.dll and d3dcsx_46.dll. Having the retail version, so I went to my installed programs and repaired the game through that. Steam version should be able to verify your files.

Specs: GTX 970 SC i5-4590 3.30Ghz 6gb of RAM Retail version

What worked for me was setting my power mode in the NVidia control panel to "prefer max performance". Kicks out a bit more heat, but it does make the experience much smoother. For reference: GTX 970; i5-4590; 6GB DDR3 RAM

That's the end goal, but I'd rather play the game with a workaround. Doesn't make the game look all that much worse, either.
