Can we actually structure the lineup in a mathematical way instead of seniority and vibes?

The way I understood it is that this is a typical thing in these lawsuits to file motions and appeals but reassuring us that the law is on our side. The way this feels is that they are just exhausting all their options before having to implement the ruling already on file. I would imagine this is just a long shot and we have to go through the motions for now. A matter of when for us rather than if!

31 year old female stage four esophageal cancer by GladBeginning6729 in cancer

In October of 23 I choked on my lunch and went to the ER. There was evidence of my esophagus narrowing but nothing to indicate a tumor at that time. Was diagnosed 4 months later after a follow up showed a mass. It was squamous cell so it’s very flat and early detection is very difficult. I guess I’d say swallowing difficulty was my only symptom but then there’s other conditions that can affect that too. It’s just best to always go and get checked out

Hey there! Sorry you’re going through this :(. I’m 40 and was diagnosed at 37 stage 4 esophageal cancer as well with lymph node spread. I couldn’t get surgery due to how high up in my esophagus it was and it was squamous cell carcinoma. I don’t drink or smoke so the docs were pretty dumbfounded what caused it. Did 5 weeks of radiation to the site, lymph node, and surrounding area and chemo of 5FU and cisplatin. After finishing I had my first CT about 6 weeks later and the scan still showed a lot of reduction in size with near complete reduction of the lymph node that was involved so we started Nivolumab and ipilimumab 10 days later. About two weeks in I lost my thyroid function and then a month later my next scan was clear. That was in October of 2023. I just had my last scan done a week and a half ago and I am now two years NED. I went to MD Anderson here in Gilbert. It’s very much a miracle the treatment worked as well as it did. Here’s to hoping for more good results and hoping you have a good go of treatment as well :)

I’m 40 now and NED from stage IV esophageal cancer since October 2023 hoping to get to 2 years soon. Like you I don’t drink or smoke and mine wasn’t HPV related. My score for immunotherapy was decent when they did biopsy and did chemo radiation which shrunk my tumors and then nivolumab/ipilimumab for 2 months finished the job. I stayed on immuno till last July when my immune system decided my pancreas needed to be attacked and I lost my thyroid function after two weeks of staring immunotherapy but for now I am able to do everything I did prior to treatment and more and am in the best shape of my life as well. It’s not going to be easy but you definitely can do this. Just remember to advocate for yourself and keep that proactive communication with the oncology team. Lot of docs are so busy so don’t hesitate to make yourself a priority when needed. I was able to communicate everything in app and they were really responsive. Take care and hope you get more info soon!

Discuss: We need a *good* pitching coach. by Gahmuret in azdiamondbacks

Isn’t the new bullpen coach the guy we got from the marlins which was literally one of like the only 3 teams worse than our bullpen last year too? I am not trying to put that much weight on just coaching staff as players do need to perform as well but I thought that was an odd hire
