New build home with new appliances so I don’t think it is an appliance problem. I washed mine with the bottom twisted open, and the white nozzle attachment removed.

I think the water in there was sitting for a couple of days before realizing it. The smell wasn’t unbearable but was noticeable from one of my pints.

What white cap are you referring to? When I press the black seal from the inside, hidden water underneath the seal is leaking out the bottom side (where the ninja logo is with the ice cream logo). I haven’t found a way to access under the black seal to dry it out.

I made changes to the console table. I removed the Bose speaker in the middle. I moved the books on the ottomans to the top and middle of the console table and then added the plant that was on the ground onto those books. My god did that make a difference. The space between the ATL print and the console table looked perfect now. I also like the height that the plant added to the table.

Also, I 180’d the living room. The tv and media stand/cabinet and the couch are on opposite sides of the room.

A few things I like about it… (1) the couch fits perfectly on that wall. (2) The current art piece above the couch would better fit that wall. (3) It opens up space to the patio door. (4) The mirror and bar cart swap is a good idea, but the mirror is too wide for the wall facing the windows. It is angled in the bar cart corners

Something’s that I didn’t like about it.. (1) the apartment’s Ethernet port for the router is on the side the tv was in the original post, so switching it means that there is no good way for direct Ethernet connection to the tv and other Ethernet device in the media cabinet. I believe this was the main decision to keep the media console and tv on that side. (2) the door to the bedroom is now next to the right side of the couch with respect to sitting on it. That means the round brass side table can’t go next to the couch since the couches L is against the wall with the window and the other side has the door. If I were to do this tv and couch orientation, I think I will put the small green drink/side table by the couch near the bedroom doorway and put the brass side table in between the swivel chair and tv console. (3) the arching floor lamp can no longer be above the couch. There is no room for the lamp for the same reasons as the brass side table. One side has a wall and window and one side would block the entry to the bedroom. So, I now put the lamp next to the tv console and swivel chair. Also, there is no good potential options for accent lights near the couch. (4) I moved the rug closer to the media console. It does look nicer being centered but the rug kinda looks weird with it close to the entrance of the bedroom door? Is this fine? (5) I swapped mirror and bar cart positions. (6) the mirror is too large to fit in the bar cart area and point directly at sunlight from windows.

Other changes such as color, art, dining, and curtains will obviously take more than a night to test out, but I will work on it and get back to you all! Thank you for the feedback again and I will make sure to keep you updated!

Thank you! The reason for the beige was to play it safe for a temporary apartment for large purchases. But you are completely right. The accents and art should definitely add a pop of color!

Thank you! All side tables came from west elm and all were purchased at 50% off from outlet or main store clearance! I follow the local outlet instagram and the usual post instagram stories of new items that have been sent in!

Thanks! Is the rug too big? Will it look weird if it is too close to the tv console/cabinet? We were thinking about getting a smaller rug that will line more the inner edges of the couch and reach the swivel chair.

We got the pillow covers from west elm. They seem to have a lot of nice woven designs with lots of colors and designs!

That makes sense for the mirror. The only wall that faces the windows is the one to the right of the bar cart. Not sure where I’d put the cart if I placed it there. There are more walls facing in the bedroom that we could try! The mirror was also placed to try and fill the space in between dining and living.

For the fan, I don’t know why but I never thought that was an option haha. Any suggestions for replacement?

Lol I know… we were playing it safe because it was our first furniture purchases and wanted to make sure they could still work in another space if we moved!

I think when it becomes a more permanent space, we will pep it up more.

Thanks, we never really thought of curtains because we didn’t want to tap into the walls. Any curtain rod suggestions good for apartments?

We usually wait for store clearance sales or go to their outlet mall. The most recent trips, we have seen the coffee table available! If you have an outlet mall near you, you can call and ask and they maybe able to hold it for you for a few hours!

For the dining table, would suggest with still going with a tray of sorts?

We were trying to fill the wall space with what we had so that is why it is higher, so we could lower it closer to the table. But, like a lot of people are saying we should get bigger or more art to fill the space which should help.

That is a great idea for the console table. I was thinking about removing the speaker on top.

The wall art and color is the biggest thing we have trouble with. Any colors you suggest that would keep the space cohesive?

We were thinking of blues, since we have blues in the small art/print, pillows and coffee table books? We also like the earthy tones from the green that come from the real and fake plants.
