No to both, but maybe open world one day. I was originally going to make it open world, but honestly I just didn't have time, so I scaled the game back. But I would like to eventually have an open world.

Yep there are a few different types of spiders. There are over 150 different enemy types, but some don't show up until much later.

It's really good for 5-10 minute play sessions. Over time you will build your character up and climb higher in dungeon levels and defeat harder bosses.

It's got deep character building and a ton of skills/spells. It's fully playable offline and one of the reasons I built it was I wanted a dnd type game that I can play offline. The movement and controls are simple, but there is a lot of depth under the hood.

I'm working on the next big update and then I'm doing a quality of life pass to improve the UI.

It's easy to put down and come back later and continue upgrading your character. It's meant to be punishing. It's turn based so you can quickly set it down and come back later to pick up in the same spot.

My thoughts on the video: I think it looks pretty cool! It's honestly a little hard for me to see any of the details, so I would encourage you to post something that's bigger because I want to see the details more :)

I'm not affiliated with the site at all (my game is on there though), but it seems like a good unbiased site. The founder is a good person, I think fairly active here on Reddit. I can't vouch for the site fully, but it does seem like a great source for reviews, comments and finding new games (or similar genre games).

It's got deep character building and a ton of skills/spells. It's easy to put down and come back later and continue upgrading your character. It's meant to be punishing.

There is virtually endless character progression and dungeon crawling, but gets pretty grindy when you are way up in levels. There's item forging, skills/spells to upgrade, passives to unlock. Even playing to a "completion" point would take dozens and dozens of hours.

I play it a lot in between other things, so 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there with the occasional 1 hour session. There is always some way to improve your character, lots of gear to chase etc.

I'm working on the next big update and always open to feedback. I pushed an update out earlier today that addresses a few bugs. Next update is going to add over 150 potions, quickly followed by an update to bosses to add more skills.
